Double Dam , Dam Miami goes into Durham and beats Duke in Cameron 76 74 - - -what the hell - - go figure
-
Charlie Moore actually looked good.
-
Ha, at least we didn’t lose at home to a chump like Miami.
-
Heck the Miami Heat went to Phoenix and beat them too by a bunch. Nice day for Miami and 78 degrees makes their day even better.
-
The biggest day of upsets of the season yesterday. 6 Top 25 teams went down.
-
Heady days in Los Angeles. Latest poll has UCLA 3 and USC 5. Not sure if there’s ever been such a high ranking for both simultaneously. I never remember USC being this high to be honest. After what they did to us last year I’d rank them #1!
-
Watched the Badgers face Danny and Maryland. After the Badgers opened up a 21 point lead Dannys kids fought back furiously and actually took a 3 point lead before the Badgers won. It’s the 3rd game the Badgers have had a 20 point lead that they’ve blown and then recovered and won, and they also had a 21 point comeback to win. Pretty amazing.

During the 1970-71 season UCLA was #1 most of the season and USC was as high as #2.
The Trojans had some great teams back then but had the misfortune of being in the same conference as the Bruins during John Wooden’s heyday as a coach. And that was back hwen only the conference champions could advanbce to the NCAA tournament. That season UCLA was led by Henry Bibby & Sidney Wicks, while USC had Paul Westphal.

I’m pretty sure the fans simply didn’t want to see Bill Walton.

LMAO - - that’s probably true. - -by the way Stanford & Jerrod giving USC all they want right now
-
So USC goes down to Stanford
-
USC goes down to Stanford. Baylor only undefeated team now. And, they are off to a 9-0 start of TTU…
-
Watching Baylor vs. TTU. Two stark contrasts. First is Akinjo vs. Martin. Have no idea is a better player - both were all P12 - but Akinjo appears to be playing without a leash, and it shows. And, Baylor benefits. Second is defense. TTU without its top 2 scorers rang up 75 on KU. With one of those back, they have 7 points in 9 minutes. No easy baskets inside for TTU. Not dominating the paint…
-
@DCHawker yup. I’m assuming TT will hang around
-
2nd yr in a row Baylor guards just make everything whether they are off balance or not with a man in his face

umm maybe not. already down a dozen . – Wish I could say Baylor stinks but that would be a bold face lie -Don’t really see any drop off. That Akinco not spelled right I know he is just stupid good , their two big men solid pieces then you got Meyer - -Cryer - just loaded
-
Baylor just spanking Texas Tech holy crap 15 down
-
Maybe not. Theyre really struggling to score
-
Nice there we go. 10-0 TT run. Baylor timeout
-
10 straight
-
Uh Ok - -a Texas Tech siting. -from 15 to 5
-
Baylor down 2 at the under 4
-
Bryson Williams was the big we needed
-
@BeddieKU23 nah it was Cam Martin wait for it book it /s
-
Ha, doubt he ever plays here
-
Baylor down 5
-
Baylor in trouble down 7
-
Adonis Arms Wow
-
Texas tech wobbly
-
Down goes Baylor!
-
Kind of had to laugh at this BUT it’s true. - - Coach K not Coaching tonight because of a non Covid illness. Local sports program saying and it’s true - - every time there is a little adversity at Duke Coach K not gonna Coach - -they are coming of that home loss to Miami which should of never happened , and tonight got to travel to Wake Forest and all of a sudden K not going to Coach lmao - -how cozy is that - - " OH let Schyer " Coach lol - - -Wake not even like 5 miles away they said - figures with K lmao.
Another little thing with MR K - -Both him and Roy retired at the same time. When Roy retired - - -Roy retired, - - Coach K oh now I’m retired but I’m taking my fan tour lol - - you go gettem K you ol son of a gun lmao
-
KU women seem to have finally turned a corner this season. Back to back road wins including tonight in Austin in OT over a top 15 Texas team.

I seen that game last night. KU actually was in front for most of the game. Lots of turovers for both teams. - -Texas horrible 1st half shooting but came on in the 2nd hald.- -KU took it to them in the over time , HUGE WIN
-
Should be an interesting matchup tonight between Gonzaga and BYU.
The WCC looks a lot stronger this year, with four teams in the top 40 of the KenPom rankings. The real surprise is San Francisco…14 and 2 with only one bad loss, to Grand Canyon. Their other one was to Loyola-Chicago. St. Mary’s is playing well too.
Too bad the conference gets dragged down by the three P’s (Pacific, Portland and Pepperdine)
-
Badgers lead country with 7 quad 1 wins and 11 quad 1-2 wins
-
Oregon goes into an empty Pauley Pavilion and beats UCLA in OT.
Walton on the TV call. Hard to tell whether he’s more annoying when the Bruins win or when they lose.
-
And at one point tonight, BYU led Gonzaga by 7 at The Kennel.
Unfortunately, that point was at the start of the game. Zags shoot 69% from the field and win by 26.
-
@nwhawkfan nice
-
@nwhawkfan I like Walton.
-
-
I hope he gets an extension when he loses to KU twice
-
One guy saying that they should bring in Pitino lol.

I told my KSU buddy this and he’s very, very much against it. “Would be something KU would do and we don’t do things that way” was his answer lmao
-
@FarmerJayhawk but yelling F KU is classy? Ugh they’re a different breed. I have a few KSU friends myself.
-
@FarmerJayhawk KSU: “Would be something KU would do and we don’t do things that way”
Other things they don’t do like KU does:
-
Win
-
Choose better schools to attend
-
Have classy coaches
-
Yell a cool school chant
-
-
Nick Bahe is doing color on Purdue Nubs. Pretty neat.
-
@FarmerJayhawk I love him!
-
@mayjay We live rent free in their heads.
-
And of Course goes to figure K/State has only allowed Tech 3 points in the first 8 minutes plus of the game - -geez
