No chance. With the severity of Silvio’s reaction, there’s a high likelihood that Mitch would be the starting 4 next season next to Dave.

That whole exchange by De Sousa could have been avoided by not fighting Jankovich (guard) for the rebound, declining to pass it to him, and dribbling it down court and getting it stolen. Clown move.

Interesting that when I see stuff like this from other teams I think that’s crazy, wow why would kids do that. Now that the issue is right here, happened right in Allen Fieldhouse I feel zero remorse for any consequences handed out. Dispicable acts on both sides. Silvio picking up a chair is just out of this world wrong. I’m sure he feels bad now but he again is front page news. Hopefully the team can find a way past this

My apologies , My apologies , to everyone. - Went to the ESPN site and watched again, and people are right McCormack did not throw a punch. - -He was grabbing and yanking people back , and he did ook like he stepped on someone when they were down. Still going to probably be suspended for sure. -

The NBA has glamorized this behavior for years, the standing over players, the shoving and fighting. The example they watched has manifested into something they think is okay. This was the very definition of not okay

Don’t be overly surprised if Silvio is done. - -looking at multiple games suspension from the league , and WOULD NOT surprise me at all if Bill dismissed him from the team for his actions.

Just read what the ejections were for. The reason all but 10 players were ejected were for leaving the bench area. The 10 on the floor at the time the brawl started were the 10 called back for the final sequence. Everyone else was ejected for leaving the bench area.

Worst case is KU would be down Garrett, McCormack, and Silvio. Nobody else on KU even appeared to do anything other than break up the fight.
KU will for sure be without Silvio, and possibly without McCormack.
Doke is going to have to Ironman it out Saturday and Enaruna is probably going to play some 5 as well on Saturday.
