Wow, Higgins was suspended for being an alternate on a crew that made a mistake. I dont like Higgins at all, but I fail to see the justice here.

Plus, I’m not sure it’s as much a suspension as much as just not making it to the final four. K State isn’t suspended for the rest of the season, they just didn’t play well enough to advance. Same thing here. Miss some calls? Don’t fulfill your duties as an alternate? No big bucks and big stage for you.

Article discusses alternate’s responsibilities and specifically mentions keeping track of fouls.

The alternate is supposed to help the officials catch that situation. He’s an extra pair of eyes. The alternate should confirm the player that was fouled. In this case, he didn’t do that, which is one of the responsibilities the alternate has.

@BeddieKU23 Hell yah! I was giddy AF this morning! Still am! But oh my gosh am I exhausted today. Just drained of energy all together. I know it was because I was on an emotional roller coaster last night and then I couldn’t sleep after the game I was so pumped up. Wouldn’t have it any other way tho!

I’m still recovering from yesterday. After going nuts with our Seattle alumni group, I went to a nearby blues club and watched a guitarist buddy of mine celebrate his birthday on stage (still rockin’ at 72). Taking it kinda s-l-o-w today.
Given the expectations most of us had about this team a month or two ago, it’s all gravy from here on out. But what the hell, let’s win it all !

I felt all along that this game would be a race… and Duke would be fighting to keep up with our high-powered offense. Why did I think that? Because Duke doesn’t play good defense and they were going to be stuck in a zone.
We won this game and we did it without shooting a high percentage from trey or inside the line. Had we shot a decent percentage, we would have stomped them.
