@BeddieKU23 I hear you my friend, but also glad we have him. It just seems crazy you think about it. Last year people bitched cause Juan was hesitant about shooting the three - no threat , or he would drive jump in the air then no where to go with the ball.
Now with Melvin we complain because of his shooting/wildness, and yet like I love the guy, when Melvin gets down hill -- -look out he is so fast, I really stuck with Juan thru and thru but I think Melvin is much better defender, & quicker on the breakout.
Ya I would love his shooting % be better, and I do think they will some anyways. Like you also said he is true Dawg I think I'll keep him he is going to work just fine

What I see with Council and his shooting is he is not afraid to shoot an open shot when it is presented. Eventually a decent percentage of those will go down. But he has also been the guy for most of this season who is willing to take the difficult ugly shot rather than just get a turnover. And I think it's clear he doesn't really care about his percentages or stat lines, the only number he cares about is the final score.

@ROCKCHALK2025 I would like to see Melvin learn a little bit form Juan about good shot selection but overall I really like how Melvin can get downhill and force defenses to collapse. Hopefully, with DP back Melvin will take fewer bad shots.

I Will probably be out of pocket for most or all of this one due to kid sporting conflicts. Such is life! I would have it no other way. But you’ll receive my feedback on tape delay!

And Melvin does not turn the ball over like a lot of primary ball handlers. We don't have many steals and do not foul very often. I do think on our run-outs that Melvin and Kohl are always ready to dunk. -
