@approxinfinity I think this is the best arguement from a KU fan - we were undefeated in Allen Fieldhouse this year; like most years. KU works hard to protect home court it would be nice if that was truly rewarded with home games instead of just a high seed.
10-16k is more people than go to many of the opening round games of the non traditional powers anyway.
Amazing player, but he didn’t spend 3 years in college and almost 2 seasons away from the league to, I guess, play baseball. I wish Lebron had gone to college, KU of course, just to see what he would’ve done.
@nwhawkfan I don’t know if this was a joke, but I saw where someone asked Kevin what he was wearing and he answered, Weavers, Mass St. Lawrence KS. Pretty cool!
Mercy, tragic - -things like this can really effect a person too. - -Coach Boeheim has to live with this tragedy the rest of his life- - -just sad for everybody concerned. - Time heals. – - tragic accident - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
But, if they provide everything, does that include a special Jack-in-the-box cadaver to get the crowd interested?
I did not see a disclaimer such as “Corpse not included.”
@Kcmatt7 Well I have an Idea as to why the NCAA isn’t saying anything til april, MONEY. If some of these top programs are gonna get hammered, they don’t want the tournament numbers to suffer at this point. That to me is the interesting point, several top teams have players or former players on several lists that have been released. It would bad business for brackets not to include Kansas, Duke, UK and Arizona. Personally I think Arizona is trying to find the right fall guy by firing all these assistants. Whats crazy is it hasn’t hurt their recruiting as it appears that it hurt ours. Right now Arizona has the number 1 class for next year.

Suffering greatly here in SC. Got down into the 20’s. Supposed to get up to 72 on Tuesday.
We miss the snow sometimes, but not that bitter cold! Good luck, everybody. Stay smart and stay safe. Gets to the teens here and people start acting real stupid. So, no indoor bonfires no matter how much you want s’mores to warm you up. And don’t plug 5 portable heaters into 3 extension cords.
You know old folks are really suffering when the cold even gets to the teens.
The best way to make sure this isn’t squelched by Big Pharma (both ends of the political spectrum are complicit) is to get the word out and keep the word out. So I’m glad you posted!
@justanotherfan I heard a podcast about that several years ago. Interesting concept. I guess the only part of it I don’t really care for is the fact that some of the thrilling comebacks that occur, i.e. 2008 as was mentioned, probably don’t occur.
Also, Poke a Doke/Hack a Happ might still be a useful strategy because you guess there’s less chance of our team scoring two points every time down the floor. If we’re losing 62-60 and 63 is the threshold, hack Doke still makes sense. Keeping the other team from shooting a 3 by fouling also becomes a strategy because giving up 1-2 points means the team with 62 comes down the floor and just needs a bucket.
Intentionally missing a FT also might come into play. Now it’s 62-61 and Doke makes the first by a miracle. Miss the 2nd on purpose and maybe we strategize how to miss, get an offensive rebound.
