Other Games Tonight

That would be pretty absurd but obviously they would have brought it upon themselves. That sure adds a lot of pressure.
-
Huge win for Texas and the league.
-
The MSU win continues to look great…
-
Great win for Texas, perhaps the best it has had since Smart took over. The game against Michigan State should tell us a lot about both teams.

Roy is 1-6 against Texas since going to UNC. That includes at least 2 losses to Shaka including last night.
-
Where were UNC and Texas ranked in previous meets? UNC is #7 and Texas unranked so far although that is bound to change.
-
Nevada upset last night too. Wow
-
@Kcmatt7 pretty sure Nevada won last night
-
@Kcmatt7 nevada won. 96-86.
-
@KUSTEVE bleacher report man
-
@Kcmatt7 been there…done that…got the t-shirt…

I know for sure this isn’t least the second time Shaka has beaten UNC while at Texas. The announcers were mentioning that the first time Shaka did it was his first signature win at Texas so I assume that time UNC was ranked while Texas wasn’t.

Danny Manning and Wake Forest fall to Houston Baptist in OT. His chair must be getting warm. Really want him to succeed!
-
@Gorilla72 I want him to come back and work with our bigs.

I believe this game doused the chair in gasoline and lit a match.
-
Future opponent Villanova with a good win against FSU.
Future opponent Oklahoma St. with a good win against ranked LSU.

I will be curious to see KSU play Marquette. Comparing performances against common opponents doesn’t always tell you much…but it will be interesting to see how KSU looks.

Oregon and Bol Bol fall to Texas Southern, 89-85. Bol had 32 points, more than double anyone else on Oregon. TX Southern won it at the free throw line.

That’s funny.

Indiana and Duke tonight. Should be a fun one.
-
@Kcmatt7 It is at Duke so I am not sure how close it will be. Duke is favored by 15. Hopefully the Hoosiers can make it a game.

Should be a colossal thumpin’ for the Hoosiers
-
Archie Miller is a really good coach and he has a decent team with good players and I would not count Indiana out. Yes, duke will likely win but it will not a thumping…at least I don’t think it will be…
-
I guess I see it differently. It’s in Cameron which I think makes a huge difference in how this game likely plays out. Indiana is a young team still, relying on two guys to carry the load for them, one a freshman. I see them struggling with the atmosphere as well as finding any way to stop Zion, Reddish & Barrett. I don’t know how they matchup with any of the 3. Vegas has the line at 14.5 which is a bit under what I see the final score being. No doubt Archie can coach but he’s up against it here.

I think I would have to agree with you on this. I just don’t think Indiana matches up with Duke very well.
read something that I found interesting awhile back. Even though you I sure won’t see it - - but read where Duke is having trouble with getting their students to even attend the games at Cameron - - how crazy/insane is that? - -Can’t remember where I saw that , but was thinking dam - -and wondering why. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

It might end up a 15 point game, but I hope that it is at least entertaining for 30 solid minutes.

Indeed.
The Texas Southern C shredded Bol. Neither defended worth a lick.

That was last season when some fans did not show up but Cameron was officially sold out for every game. This season all home games have been sold out. Pretty much like KU although Cameron holds only 9,314 people.
-
Duke up 24 at half. Just pummeling Indiana.
-
Just spitballing here, but I’m not super impressed with Langford so far. I got killed for saying this, but I never thought he was a great fit on this Kansas team and was probably going to put up Kelly Oubre type numbers but not defend well.
-
@FarmerJayhawk he hasn’t showed me anything during this game. Forced some shots and looks disinterested a lot of the time.
-
Indiana outscored Duke in the second half but dug itself too deep of a hole in the first half.
-
B10 had 3 second half comebacks last night to keep the ACC/B10 challenge at 3-3. Could have easily been 6-0. 6 more tonight, UNC @ Michigan the highlight of the night.
-
it is 4-4 now.
-
Purdue/Florida St should be a good one as well.
-
Konate not playing for WVU tonight, but I can’t find out why. Their 247 board alludes to it, but nothing definitive.
-
holy crap , was looking forward to the Michigan - North Carolina game - - - NOW not so much , frickin Vitale going to be doing it , should of known - North Carolina. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

You know, Virginia has the roster of a Missourah Valley team. They are really unathletic. But, they play that system ball, choke that clock out, and play prevent defense with that pack line like a pack of wild dogs…nipping at their heels. They do stack up the wins, although they basically blow during the tournament. Their guys are like toothpicks.

they play such a boring game - -I if I were a recruit could never bring myself to play for Virginia - - vey hard to watch - -hard for the students to get fired up about - -just boring ball

I see where Syracuse beat #1 Ohio St. by 10.

A Syracuse will be the new #1. Or Cleveland State…
-
Michigan is a legitimate Final 4 team again. I don’t think this years UNC squad is anything special but Michigan can really defend and score which is the lethal combination to have already.
-
Great post. Their schedule is so bad they might be undefeated until January. DeAndre Hunter is a NBA player though & Guy/Jerome are shot makers. They look exactly the same as they always do. This system works until March when scoring matters

very true - - news flash boys and girls - -MICHIGAN is LEGIT for sure – mercy the Big Freshman is pretty dam solid - -Matthews is sweet - -Poole is nice - -the only thing is - -they are not deep at all like they said last night for the most part a 7 man rotation - -if they get into some even fairly decent foul trouble -things change

#119 Syracuse!!! WHAT AN UPSET!!!
-
Let’s give a shout out to the Ladies. - -Up 15 points at the half - -on the road - -was 20 -at LSU unbeaten and receiving votes at this point - -very nice. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Does anyone have any idea why the Big 10 is throwing some conference games in this weekend in the middle of the non conference schedule? I know they are playing more conference games this year, but it doesn’t make sense to me to play a couple this early then resume non con then back to conference games…
Regardless there are some good Big 10 games this weekend.
