We came back, and started playing composed. They won’t shoot 3s like that the 2nd half.

Fun half. Boy, our offense got going in the last 10 minutes. I hope our defense improves.

TCU shot 5/8 from 3; 63.5%. That’s got to change.

Alot of the problem is Robinson or fisher getting the lane and throwing the pass out from under the hoop putting the guards in a tough situation
We are not guarding the pick and roll well and that’s where almost every basket tcu has got is off some type of action with a pick that is setting up a shot in rhythm

Out rebounded the frogs, 21 to 14. Lucaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas with 10 boards.

Some numbers here, Frank with 12 as well as Vick. We are leading on the glass 21 to 14 while shooting 50% from the field which is impressive considering starting 1 for 13. Giving up 48% shooting which has to improve as well as giving up 13 foul shots for us to win.

@Bwag our offense and rebounding has been solid. Defense - not so much

The rest of the league looks tough. Would never have guessed at the beginning of the season. Before the season I would’ve taken KU over the field. Now I think I’d take the field.

Officiating has been pretty inconsistent so far. Calling everything for TCU early, then KU, then inconsistent both ways.
Also nice to see KU finish 17 of 27 from the field after that 1/9 start. Pick up the defense like they did from about the 1o minute to 5 minute mark and KU wins this one comfortably.

@BeddieKU23 but when they drive there is already one or two defenders on him. No need for more help - make them shoot a tough shot over the top

@HawkChamp I noticed you didn’t add Bragg in that list…his guy hit 4 (?) from outside. But what do you do in that scenario when you don’t have much heigth inside…

Your right it’s breakdowns at multiple levels but neither mason or Graham is stopping penetration and our bigs are not hedging so far to disrupt the flow of the play

@Bwag the man guarding the driver has to play great D by himself ala Chalmers and Robinson. So far, our guys have given up ground quickly while the driver goes by them - have to be quicker and cut him off

Guess we don’t have the inside defense that can collapse and or erase the drive…That would allow our perimeter players to not shade in so much, so far…
