Yeah that's been an ongoing issue all year and will continue to be one.
Possible, but much harder in the NIL era. It really all hinges on Darryn. If he is back and able to play 30 minutes that means much less bench, and the first player off the bench is better etc

I know we have Davidson yet but my brain wants to look at the Big XII conference. I mean KU is at this time the 5th best team and that's ahead of TTU. Right now Houston freaking Houston is the 4th best then BYU third and eat this for supper ISU is the second best team really? Well ask Purdue WTF. Oh yeah Arizona who's gonna beat your big bad a**? KU is touted as a final four team with Darryn healthy and we are still probably 5th. It is like wow what a slate of big games this week and wow look at next week and oh yeah look at next week. We will need every last player on our bench to be our savior in this grist mill.

What are we realizing about the Jacque Vaughn immediate impact on this team's attitude? I can see that Self is very happy about it. We see Slim Self up on his feet really coaching and energized. He doesn't miss anything. What could the players think about having a pro head coach who has already lived the life that they are living now? Respect and mentoring for sure. What a great hire.

It looks like our games without DP... We really count on White, Council, and Bidunka. I think we have little margin of error. If one of these guys has a bad night, someone else has to pickup the stats. So far, I'm not feeling comfortable thinking the rest of the team can definitely take up the slack. I hope we get more consistency out of others. My first focus is on Tiller. If he can become just a bit more consistent on the stat sheet, it will help us tremendously!

I'm sure Vaughn helps and this may be beating a dead horse, but I think Hunter moving on has done wonders for the mentality of the team. The game looks so much more fun without a monster just standing in the paint waiting for the ball to be passed to him. And while he got his numbers it just never felt like he really cared. I'd trade his 18 and 10 for whatever numbers council was putting up BEFORE NC State any day.

@mayjay Well I should've mentioned it was about 10 degrees out with a wind chill below zero. I know I should've toughed it out, but an interesting podcast about a slave ship that the slaves took over and put the crew on lifeboats in the middle of the Atlantic kept me interested!

@benshawks08 It's really hard to determine if he cared. I'd look at numbers like he put up and say he did care. It might be the fact that like 10 guys transferred away from the team each of the last two seasons, most of whom to me were the ones who didn't care. Hunter stayed, cared. AJ, the kid from Bama, etc were guys who didn't care. Mid major transfers who proved they were mid major players in reality were a more tangible way of saying why we had our worst season in decades.

Hunter wasn't the only one either... Not worth getting into too much now. Will just say, multiple softies and guys only worried about themself the last couple years... Did he care? I think to an extent but he was also what I would call "fake tough".

@mayjay I know exactly what your talking about my friend. As a matter of fact I'm actually been going through the same type of thing right now with my knee and quad muscle.
My right knee and muscle have been giving me fits for quite some time , it'd been through multiple sessions of therapy - I have had four knee procedures with it all stemming from I tore my MCL , & LCL , then I retore them was told my meniscus was petty much all gone , so just rubbing bone on bone
my right knee has gotten really weak , to the point I drag my right leg quite a bit and like you stated my left leg I think It's over compensated and now giving me problems , sometimes my knee is really weak-- my quad get's really tight , other rimes feels like someone running a knife into it with really sharp pain, rimes my right leg almost locks up and starts to buckle. They are talking knee replacement now but ya I've had some of the things you mentioned so no good, it's just a problem for DP
.

Sorry to hear about the knees. I’ve had one knee replaced (so far). Definitely changed my life for the better. Comically painful rehab, but I’m guessing you have some experience regaining flexion.
