This is the Juan I’ve always envisioned, 8 and 8 on a nightly basis
-
Great game.
-
Pretty solid outing after a slow start. Only gripes I have is we could’ve hit a few more open 3s and cut down on the turnovers. Got a road test Wednesday
-
KJ
-
Zach got the floor
-
35 pts from the bench and 20 boards
Adams tied career high with 22
Harris with 8 dimes. 17 dimes to 2 turnovers last 2 games. Studd
-
The KJ Adams game

Roots Rockabilly, baby! Love it.
-
2 very impressive games from him. Juan and him have made a leap
-
KU scores 86 and only has 2 in double figures. Didn’t get to watch due to driving back from Waco, but sounded like that 3 from Furman that made it a 1 point game is what lit the fire because KU outscored Furman 59-25 over the last 26 minutes of the game.
-
@BeddieKU23 Thing is KJ is doing multiple things doing a lot even going to the Offensive boars a lil better
-
One thing I love to see is sure nice to have more people that can spell our starters - - - Coit had a good game/solid-- - -had nine players that contributed to the cause , got some depth this year big difference. – Flory played well --KJ wasa really good for the 2nd game in a row , Juan playing better.- -Big tests coming up this week

Yeah, 7 turnovers is inexcusable.
-
@mayjay haha you have to be a little picky after that one lol there were a few that were egregious.
-
Here are some numbers I like to see , keep those legs fresh, pretty sweet to have some depth for a change. - - -
-
- Hunter – ( 24 min ) - -Juan ( 26 min ) – -KJ -( 27 min )— Zeke - -( 27 min ) ---- Storr --( 23 min - -? )
Coit- -( 23 min )- - Flory - -( 15 min- ) -Rylan – ( 16 min )- -& Passmore - -( 8 min - -( - Love thoss times, Depth is nice

@SlimShaddy54 our agents have submitted their reports and we have determined that you are in fact a genuine jayballer.
Will DM you later about recovering old account.
-
Kinda like slim shady, needs a pic- -

@Crimsonorblue22 break the camera
-
Of anyone or thing
-
Finally watching. Some thoughts!
-
Big picture, we have every piece to win a natty. You can see the bulb flickering for Rylan and AJ
-
Flory is a DUDE. Can’t wait to see how he develops the next year or two.
-
Juan is our MVP. He just makes play after play after play. If there’s action, he’s in the middle of it.
-
Zeke is a terrific guard. He does a lot of things well. Once his shot falls he might be our best player.
-
Hunt is just an anchor. We know what we have here. Limitations and all, but we’re better when we can feed him
-
This is a terrific passing team. Juan, Zeke, KJ, and Hunt are all really good passers. Look out once the shooters find their rhythm
-
You can see AJ and Rylan getting there. AJ had a couple deflections, Rylan was more aggressive. We should drop all the money to keep them another year.
-
Lol at the KU Twitter hive mind that said KJ can’t play. If they need someone trained in stats to talk hash tag # analytics lmk
-
-
@FarmerJayhawk Yeah Dajuan Harris is actually our best player. Rylan and AJ are playing within themselves for the most part now, big system adjustment for both.
Zeke is right there with Juan and KJ in minutes played. That probably doesn’t get discussed enough. Deep in the Circle of Trust
-
Read yesterday that Coach Self is wanting to run Hunter and Flory together a little more , saying he think Flory and Hunter can play together not big periods of time but like 5 minute runs. Interesting
-
I’ve honestly been really impressed with how well AJ and Rylan are fitting in even if they haven’t had any breakout games yet. They seem like willing passers and while still figuring out what is and isn’t a good shot in the KU system, seem to be growing in that regard. Rylan plays D hard if not always super well. He really challenges at the rim when he is coming for weakside help. AJ still thinks going for steals is what good D is but the want to is there. And the fact that we were able to bring in all of this talent and the attitudes seem to be all in line is the real success right now. Doesn’t feel like any of them are worried about playing time, shot attempts, or anything like that. Love it!

Having guys that care about the front of the jersey matters a lot. I have heard KJ and Juan have been huge with helping everyone integrate.
-
@BShark their accolades are proof of that!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 play hard chart! Bruce would be proud
-
@BShark nah, playing for KU! Team! Yuck on him!

While it was late in the game with nothing still on the line, I thought Zach C did a good job with his limited minutes. If I recall correctly, he had 3 rebounds, dove on the court for a loose ball and made a good outlet pass when he got it, and made a good pass on the fast break without taking a dribble. No fumbling the ball like earlier in the year. He always sprints up the court on O and D and gets involved in most plays. There will likely be a few games where, due to fouls and injuries, having a fourth playable big will be crucial, and I like seeing sign we may have one.
