Exactly! He can’t possibly be the first boneheaded athlete to play in the NFL. Simplify things for him. Make use of his athleticism. Andy’s smart, but hasn’t figured him out yet.

@rockchalkjayhawk I never want to see Young Joka play a meaningful snap. - pass hit his hands in the first game last year and ends up a pick six that cost the game. Lined up offsides and nullified Kelce’s lateral back to Toney touchdown - lost by a score again. This pre-season he had two penalties on one play.
It’s just hard to pass up on his potential, but his down side last year cost the Chiefs at least two games!
Then there’s Skyy Moore - he doesn’t really hurt you, but has no way to help either. I’d cut both. No upside to Skyy and too much downside to Toney. Good Toney is electric, maybe they can trade him?
- I believe the Chiefs will keep Toney since his salary is guaranteed and he has high upside. We’ll find out today!

What do Chiefs fans think about FAU?
I was expecting more from him in yr 2 but did not see much growth at least in pre-season games.
Is he a bust or needs more time to develop?

Chiefs released QB Chris Oladokun. Released WR Kadarius Toney. Released WR Justyn Ross. Released Louis Rees-Zammit. (courtesy ESPN)
Sorry to lose Ross. They also picked up a TE and a LB today by trading '25 and '26 seventh round picks. Not at all sure what that is all about.

If Bean can get good NFL QB coach, I am confident that he will become a very serviceable backup QB. He has tremendous potential, and he has speed.
He can make plays.
What he needs is solid coaching to avoid stupid mistakes and mediocre plays.

Also, per CBS Sports, Bean “injured his shoulder on his one-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Colts’ preseason finale against the Bengals on Thursday. If he clears waivers, Bean could be invited back by Indianapolis to be on the practice squad, or he could look to take his talents elsewhere.”

I didn’t know this, but he’s apparently traumatized after killing a dude who was trying to rob him in college. That sucks.

@stoptheflop we have different opinions on this. I’m to the point where “they” can quit charging for watching sports or I will give up watching sports.
I hear there are other options in life. Hiking, boating, fishing, etc. Screw the professional money grubbers.

A good win against a good team, could play a big factor later on in the year as to whom gets home field in the playoffs. Offense looked pretty good most the night, defense has a lot to work on IMO. If Lamar who played a good game could throw. The chiefs likely lose

Hey, a win vs a top team is a win! Happy about that. I thought the defense played well. Super tough to non-traditionally defend against Lamar. Ya never know what he’s gonna do. The D line was mostly great til they got winded. No real issues with the secondary. They made some good plays. The Baltimore touchdowns did seem preventable though.
Go Chiefs! And screw Peacock!

After seeing all the Greenbay/Eagles ads for the game in Brazil Friday night, that game is only shown on Peacock. So, for those who got Peacock to watch the Chiefs, you can get your money’s worth watching Friday night’s game.

Balt gave up on using Henry in the 2nd half b/c the Chiefs were up by 2 scores. Remember the Titans game in the playoffs a few years back? Same thing. A good lead can negate his dominance.
