We didn’t score in the last 5:15. That wasn’t just the scrubs. Guess we didn’t need it, but those flat lines on the game flow summary are a bit odd.

Well I’d say that we need more scoring from the bench but the facts are we might not. If Dave and Juan can get to couple figures this team will be just fine on the offensive end as Och will most likely add another 20 plus 15 from Wilson and Braun and your looking at 70 points. Enough to win most games.
Zach’s rebounds were big this game and if he gets comfortable doing that and defending a bit we know he can pop off for some buckets in limited minutes.
Still waiting on a productive offensive performance from yes but we’ve seen the pieces are there.
This team can defend when they are locked in. But I think the rotation could be starting to solidify. This is a team that could get hit and win a bunch of games or lose to a good team but I don’t think they’ll lose a shocker that’s a massive upset. Maybe a slightly underseeded athletic group could knock them out first weekend but I don’t see it. I fortunately I also have trouble seeing this team winning 4 in a row vs very good teams which is what it would take to win the whole thing but it could happen.

I’d been thinking of it for awhile, but the very second I spoke to the TV and said WTF are our the starters still doing in the game, Fran answered my question. So for all you Fran haters (I’m not), he gave us the scoop and said coaches don’t want to affect the ridiculous NET stats for NCAA seeding by taking out the starters.
Today, I dunno. If Self publicly says our studs need to play way fewer minutes, today was the day. SIX guys only in double digit minutes.

Watched the game at 2:30 am. The refs changed their whole MO at the start of the second half. About 8-10 minutes into the second a graphic showed we had hit 9 of 10 shots. We were shooting 51% after that, Lmao. Zach contributed just fine but he seemed a little slow or maybe just half committed due to the obvious. JWill missed several easy buckets he had worked hard for. Dang it. Was questioning Bill for not subbing more at the end. Now I see why he didn’t. I liked the unis. George Gervin was watching some old games with his kids and said they called the short shorts Come Get Me pants as in sending a signal to the weirdos.
