The B10 conference is looking overrated to start the tournament. Purdue might lose a home game to a 13-seed.

Until now all I knew about the school was that they had a great jazz department. Lots of alums in bands from SNL to Letterman to The Blues Brothers. A couple even played with Frank Zappa.

Not just jazz, their entire music department is one of the best in country…

I would…the lady I was dating during my KU days was a Special Ed major. We’re still good friends; just talked to her last night in CA.

These don’t really even seem like bad matchups for the B1G. Ohio State just forgot what worked (driving and pounding inside second half) and Washington went into hero ball mode at the end against ORU for no reason.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a 13-v-12 matchup in the next round. Winthrop always seems to step up to the occasion. Good timing for them with Nova on a slight decline.

To be fair he missed a couple. One at KU then I think an early year at UNC
The one he missed at KU was the very first year (because of NCAA sanctions). He went every other year he was here. That’s why we have the longest streak of NCAA appearances (and still counting).
Duke’s streak started in 96 over and has to start over. Michigan State’s streak started 1997ish. They are now #2 and Gonzaga is #3 (started around 99).

Oklahoma 8/Missouri 9 is an interesting matchup that I hope the Big 12 wins. 6:25 TNT. I root for all the Big 12 teams, even though I develop great animosity toward them during the season. I could punch smug Lon Kruger in the face; especially after fouling Dok anywhere he was on the floor to win one stinkin’ game. But, I’ll be rooting for them tonight.

well here is a little nugget. If we happen to have to match up with USC - one good thing is they are a very poor free throw shooting team, think I head them say their like 340th out of 368 - - - -3-9 today
