How do we guard sims?

@DanR Just what you wished for! It would be fantastic to get TX back after losing twice. But it would suck to lose to Shaka 3 times in one season. Ok St is the only other team that swept Self in a Big 12 season, both home and away, and I don’t think we played them in the Big12 tourney. I don’t want Shaka to be the first. But it’s a weird season, so I wouldn’t give him any credit anyway.

@Crimsonorblue22 I was thinking the same thing. Can we win without Dave? We did great against TX last game when Dave was on the bench first half, but Sims was also on the bench. 2nd half was not fun with both in the game, but nobody else could guard Sims. He’s not a huge scorer for their team overall, but we don’t match well against him without Dave.

Its not really sims, its a combination of the athletic ability of Sims, Brown and Jones that we have zero answer for.

I apologize guys from the get go , hate to be the Negative Nelly , however this is the worst Scenario for us. - -I mean just terrible match ups across the board even more so with Dave being out. - -I mean we have zero answer for Sims - -who is going to match up with him ? - You figure you have Garrett on Coleman , Oachi on Andrew Jones I figure those to are givens - - I guess you can always try to play Wilson on Sims - - - not good - -who the hell is Braun going to defend ? - just a bad situation , Texas long /Big/Athletic/
Do we try and Zone some ? - -you take your chance they are not hitting their 3’s - they CAN get rolling from the 3 - -They got Jones that shoots well , Kia Jones can drain the 3 - -you got Feberes - -Coleman so just hope they are off I dunno think it could be a Loooooong night. - -
What the hell has happened to Braun ? - -he has become non exsistant at the wrong time. Averaging under 10 a game now - if we want any chance tonight we have to have all hands on Deck. - - If we even to hope to do ANYTHING in the NCAA’S - Braun has to got to shake out of this funk - -We got to get Wilson out of this funk - -just don’t know BUT tonight? - -doesn’t look good

The way the NCAA has sit it up is - - as long as you have 5 healthy players you can play in the NCAA tourney ,BUT I don’t think it’s gonna matter I think we are done. - the 2 that is in protocol - no the positive.
Thing is it was someone who played in last nights game , which means anyone around him has now been exposed

Not sure how the season isn’t over. How does this work? 7 days of neg tests for remaining players? At least we got 20 wins.
Baylor should just forfeit and head back to Waco and try to stay intact for the Big Dance.

So this has not been a great week other than I got an acceptance letter from one of the graduate schools I applied to on Tuesday. I’m beginning to think I shouldn’t accept it.

I think that they should cancel all conference tournaments and - not out of the realm of possibility (and not just for us) - start the tournament at a later date.

My guess is that it was Christian Braun. He did not look like himself out there last night. Didn’t seem to even consider shooting a 3.
