Not sure Hamilton is what we need. Not a great shooter.

He’s a scorer, good size and likes to get to the line. Love his spin move as a lefty and he’s a playmaker. I’d take him in a heartbeat and see what improvement he can make as a consistent shooter. It’s not like he can’t make 3’s. Played on a really bad UNLV team and too much was on his shoulders there.

Yeah this is fair. I think we need TyTy to just commit elsewhere already so we can find out who the last piece will be. I’d be thrilled with Locke or the sniper from Cal.

I would not come to KU if I was TyTy and wanted to be the primary ball handler. He is going to get used differently by Self.
If he wants to have a shot at a Natty - and still get put in the position to shine - this is the place to come. He’ll get some primary ball handler duties. But he would also get to play off the ball.

Agree. Seems destined for a Devonte SO/JR year type roll. Which he’d be so, so good at. Cleary the Harris/Yesufu and Tyty combo wouldn’t be as good as Frank and Dtae, but could get close after a year or so.

Interesting, he can really shoot it and he’s a jump shooter, not a set shooter. Doesn’t do much else statistically, not big on rebounds, assists, getting to the FT line but averaged 2.2 made 3’s in 51 games as a Ute so he’s definitely a specialist.

Which makes the fit odd if Ochai leaves since we really need another dude that can start in that scenario. Yesufu gives you a lot more at the same size so it feels redundant.
I’m still hoping for 2 impact players, a big and if Ochai is gone another Wing. If Ochai stays I like Plummer, but only in that scenario

We offered Bishop a scholarship so there’s definitely interest. Kind of surprised there wasn’t a decision already made. Wondering if the recent movement with Ochai is causing them to rethink another forward. Need another wing now if he doesn’t return
