-
Duke loses to GT now 11-10 on the year Don’t think anyway in hell they now make the tourney unless they win the ACC Tourney - - that’s to bad
-
@jayballer67 yup. Toooo bad.

Yeah. A low down dirty shame
-
Kentucky sucks and I’m here for it.
-
I’m down with both Duke and Kentucky sucking (I don’t root against Roy, he’s class). All in all, it’s already been a good season…
-
Espn said they were in with a win. I guess they will run with it until they lose 3 more

@jayballer67 or illinois goes to 2. Unlikely but maybe
Just heard Joey Brackets has moved Baylor back to # 2- he usually not to far off
They should have never left the spot tbh. Too much reactionary this late in the season
-
Duke on the bottom end of the first four out after losing. Before the game they were on the next four out line. Somehow they gained a spot or two for losing. Can’t make this up

Great article in case anyone here is subbed and missed this.

Seriously if Duke gets in what a travesty to the sport this year.

ISU is 2-20
Would love for Tyrese Hunter to become available.
-
@BShark thats gotta be worst in a P5 conference.
-
@approxinfinity This is when I knew Prohm couldn’t coach a lick: https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/iowa-state/2019.html
-
@BShark 9-9 with Shayok Horton-Tucker and Haliburton. That does seem to be underachieving

2 real ass NBA guys. Shayok was a cup of coffee guy but a good college player. Wigginton was a top 30 recruit, very good player. There was enough around them. Bill wins the league comfortably with that roster.
-
Ok. Maybe I missed the West Virginia game thread. But has anyone noticed their court just looks like they have a leak in the roof right over the center of the court?
-
Very Interesting. Just under 4 minutes left with WV / Okla St , West Virginia getting ready to shoot their 32 free throw , Entire Oklahoma St roster in serious foul trouble lol - - -Oklahoma St 8-12 from the line , hmm lets see 32 free throws - - - -12 free throws - - -32 - - 12 hmm ya that works. - - No Cunningham - No Likely and 332 free throws and Okie State still up 1 - -well , well. Huggy influence? - - Naaaaaa
-
Okie State , just beat West Virginia without Cunningham - - without Likely at Morgantown and WV shooting 34 free throws 85-80
-
WVU 5-23 from 3. Thanks for the 2 seed I guess

WV , KU & Texas all with 6 losses now - will have to wait and see how Texas does tomorrow
-
But Kansas with 12 wins and a better %. I believe we are locked in as the 2-seed now.
-
6 thurs winner of ou/isu?
-
So according to the tournament schedule, it looks like we play Thursday at 5:30 PM Central against the winner of the Iowa State-vs.-Number 7 seed game.
-
And Nova goes down again.
-
Nova, FSU, WVU losing today helps KU’s chances at getting a better seed. Hoping Illinois beats Ohio St as well for that reason.
-
This will be a crazy tournament.
-
And Michigan State over Michigan. That, plus some help in the conference tourneys, could MAYBE get us as high as a 2 seed.
B10/B12 will be nuts. At least 7 bid-worthy teams in each.

oh , ok - I was looking but didn’t see anything

I assume the huge loss (pending) to NC will finally be enough for the tourney officials to quit trying to find a way to get Duke into the tournament.
-
They’ll probably rise. Quality loss

Duke is toast - ONLY way they get in now is to win the ACC tourney

1st ticket to the Dance going to be punched tonight . - - OVC Championship tonight , Belmont vs Morehead State , 1 vs 2 - -& so it begins. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
Things just getting worse for Villanova. - Now Justin Moore the guard averaging I think 14.3 , went down with what Wright called as a SEVERE Ankle injury said probably an MRI tonight or tomorrow

Liberty already punched the 1st ticket once North Alabama reached the A-SUN title game because they aren’t eligible for the NCAA Tournament yet so Liberty gets the A-SUN bid regardless of the outcome tomorrow.

, sorry bout that. Thought this was 1st one

Yesterday, Bracketology had us playing Liberty in the first round. A scary prospect, since two years ago they pulled another one of those 12-v-5 seed “upsets.”
To further complicate things, that bracket had the winner playing either Wichita State or Colorado (coached by KU’s Tad Boyle). Of course, today’s results changed all that, but it would’ve been an interesting scenario.
-
just checked today Bracketology. Got to say and I know it won’t be like this BUT I got to say if it did , I wouldn’t have any problem with that region at all for the 1st couple of rounds I’d go ahead and take our Chances Region 3 , Michigan # 1 seed and we would be in the upper half with them - -But 1st round would have us matched up with Colgate - - & then We could play the winner of the Colorado/Toledo game I would take my chances up to that point
-
Well Grimes seems to have settled in pretty good at Houston, watching their game against Memphis. - -Grimes is number 3 in the Nation in making over 3 - -3pt goals a game , dam forgot what they were saying for what but he is in the finalists one of five guys they were saying doing with some kind of Naismith award - doing ok I guess
-
Gotta give some props for our former boy - - Brett Ballard Coach -they won their game last night against Northwest - with a last second right about half court shot. - -Sports Center top 10 0:36 video saw it on TOS check it out pretty cool
-
Dam what a game between Houston & Memphis. - -Memphis down 3 with 9.3 seconds to go - - dude put up terrible 3 point attempt for Memphis but Memphis get the rebound kicks out to Boogie Ellis drains the three and tied with 1.7 seconds , Houston calls time out. - -gets the ball to half court Dude catches it and drains a 3 to win the game for Houston - - - crazy
-
This dance is going to be wide open… Calling it, neither the Zags or Baylor will win it. Call me jaded, but we have a chance. Look out for UNC also, a tough out for anyone. Another one, Syracuse. Cinderella is going to love this tournament.
-
That Houston-Memphis ending was crazy…
I’m going to reserve judgement until all of the teams are seeded and I can look at potential match-ups, but I feel like Baylor will go furthest in the tournament. One of the best defensive teams with NBA guards that can go 1-on-1 and get a basket. That tends to translate well in March. As for Kansas, I’ll be happy if they win more than 1 game.
