@FarmerJayhawk enjoying what I saw in November sure but if after never winning a meaningful road game people couldn’t see it that’s just stupidity
Our offense even if you replace KJ will not be fixed because of the liability running the show. We go into every game at a disadvantage with the most important position on the court

At least they’re getting shots up. Beats having a million turnovers. Still sucks, but it could be more frustrating - just getting the brakes beat off you is better than beating yourself.

zags are pressuring d2…going under every screen and back in his hip pocket immediately and he wilts because he can’t create separation or hit a 3 (he doesn’t even look) or hit a step back jumper or anything besides a set shot.
Dude has the offensive skills of d2 but that’s offensive to many d2 guys he’s probably more naia. His rare fancy layups wows the crowd but the rest of his struggles go unnoticed

I’ve seen enough. Enjoyed the community throughout the season. Keep the faith for our guys and love of the game. I got lots of projects to begin.

Ball screen on d2 over and over again and he can’t even remotely recover on his man

Like I said at the beginning of this thread, if it gets to 90 plus again we are in trouble. Needed to come out and muddy up the game. We just didn’t have the athleticism to do that.

Rock chalk everyone, unfortunate that this season played out like this, but you gotta play the hand you’re dealt. I for one look forward to Harris’s last season. Hopefully we can have better luck in the portal!

Last 3/5 years we’ve gotten blown out in 2nd round….Self’s roster construction has sucked for years. Got lucky remy saved him from the same against creighton AND providence

Anything else was found money after the first round so can’t complain too much

I’ll give some credit to Timberlake. Obviously not the close anyone wanted but he strung together some decent performances which is impressive given the largely godawful body of work that was provided for the majority of the season

It really just came down to shooting and defense. I don’t think we guarded worth a hoot. I’m not sure they guarded great. According to the shot chart we missed about 20 shots within 5 feet. We actually made 9 threes and they made 8. We just turned into a bad defensive team in January and I don’t understand why we just didn’t move to obtain position. If you go watch the UK, Tennessee or UConn game we look good on that end.

A stat I hate is Self continues to struggle miserably in second games of the weekend. We have gone home now 4 of the past 5 tournaments in the round of 32. I know he has a losing record in the elite 8 but this round can’t be much over .500 at this point.
