Harris had 14 today. You know there may be a few games this yr he hits 20+. He is improving on the offensive end.

You know what guys & listening to Jimmy Dykes & Seth Greenberg and have to agree both of them really like KU- they saying they think KU is going to be fine. - Have to agree I think we are going to be fine and a challenge as the year goes on,
As the year goes on as our young big’s develop if we can get anything from them at all if we can say get our 5 to say get us even 8-10 points a game grab some rebounds were gonna be dangerous. - Like they said KU has a group of athletic 5-6 - 6’7 -6’8 guys that cause matchup problems , we have a pretty dam good point guard. I like em guys-- were gonna have some close games everyone does - -give our big’s a little time to develop some let the game so down for them adjust to the speed of the game , Bill does a really good job developing these guys

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but Grady Dick has scored 92 points in his first five game-- - that’s the most by a KU freshman in the last 25 years

The one glaring thing right now is - -in order for us to REALLY be a big big challenge is - - we just have to get some production from the Bench - -today we got 4 points - -that’s not going to get it all year , I know MJ gonna help BUT dam he has to get on the floor to be able to do tha - -I just don’t see why he couldn’t play today , I know he had kidney stones but dam that was Saturday - -no reason that should of kept him off the floor tody - -easy easy procedure to take care of with little after effects. - Plus where was Clemance today ? - -Still hurting from the nose ? - -Maybe more to that then that, I can see him transferring out soon actually

There was a much bigger crowd for the Wisc. Dayton game. I wonder why KU as the highest seed plays the earliest game.

I was pretty satisfied with this game. Seems we often get knocked out early in these fall distant tourneys where there is a beach.
Self was already sunburned.
We’ve been talking about Self’s impact on the actual game. I think he made a difference today. I think he helped keep Dajuan settled down and it is Dajuan’s show.
Anyways… glad to get the win and look forward to a game with Whiskey.

I noticed Coach’s red complexion too, but I think it’s from higher blood pressure during the game. I noticed the redness during games last year too.

Wisconsin beat Kensucky a few years ago in the tourney semi final game. The year Kensucky was supposed to go undefeated 40-0. They went 38-1…lol.

Well was reading this this morning that was put out by Wisconsin media.- -Talking about FIVE crazy things that stuck out from their game yesterday , so thought I would share what they said : Some of the things mentioned , stats : – Wisconsin only had a total of 7 assists yesterday - - - They went 6 --27 from the three yesterday . - -Wisconsin only shot 23.7 from the field for the game yesterday and won.
the two teams shot 10 - -54 from the three yesterday. - -Dayton had more turnovers ( 17 ) then fg’s ( 16 ) for the game . - -Wisconsin was 1 - -17 in their last fg’s . , and Wisconsin didn’t score in the final three minutes and seventeen seconds and still won. Wisconsin picked Connor E . as their player of the game. His stats for the game ? - - -13 points - - -3 - -16 from the field - - & 2 -4 from the three. -What a game mercy

@Hawk69 Who won the tourney that year? It wasn’t Wisconsin. Big letdown kinda like the Chiefs after they beat the Bills last year. Sucks playing the best game before the final, wrong team ends up champs too often.

@dylans That was the biggest letdown after one of the greatest moments I’ve ever experienced. A lot of bucketeers were offering me comfort and solace after the game because most wanted UW to beat Duke almost as badly as i did!

@wissox oddly I’m glad Duke won as it makes them even more unlikeable and Wisconsin more likable. I would not expect you’d feel the same.

@dylans That year Wisconsin beat Oregon, North Carolina, Arizona and undefeated Kentucky in the tourney. Usually that would be enough to win it all.

@focojayhawk Luck of the draw. Unfortunately for Wisconsin they weren’t good enough to win all 6. Happens to KU a lot as well, but often KU has more talent so it’s a far worse look.

Bob P had some strange moments yesterday, made a few erratic passes and could not contain his man on D and ended up fouling stopping the clock.

Think he needs some more PT to work things out. His speed is needed, but it also means he has to mentally have it together to play well at that pace. I know Self thinks highly of him and Self smiled big when he drove baseline to baseline in the second half for the easy layup.
Bobby is sorely needed on this team to backup Dajuan. Joseph is a 2, definitely not a PG.
I expect him to get some decent PT before league play starts. Gotta have him!

@drgnslayr He is playing about 17 minutes a game which feels about right. Not a lot of minutes without Juan but so far the staff has found some minutes with both of them in there at the same time.

Yep… I can’t stress how vital Bobby is to this team. Dajuan is our most important piece to this team. He is the composer of the orchestra. But Dajuan is going to show wear if we don’t get him some rest. And it is scary to think he could have an injury.
Plus… if we get Bobby really executing his potential, we have a lethal combo of him with Dajuan. Bobby can turn the corner on anyone in college basketball.
