I am just NOT getting a good feel for this game tomorrow with k-Straight and their idiot fans - there is a couple here that don’t think it is a big deal , cool that’s one opinion and your entitled, BUTI fully think that this thing could get ugly in so many ways.
I’m sure that Coach Weber & Coach Self have Both made it perfectly clear to the players to act responsible, that they are representing the University I’m not concerned about the players themselves. - -It’s the moron K-state fans that has me concerned , this is a smoldering brush pile at least as far as these K-State fans go. - -ANYTHING - - the least LITTLE THING could get these idiots out of control. - -They we have to play their. - - little 85 yr old song - -what’s it called again? , where they all get to bouncing around like a wild batch of bunny rabbits in heat? - -ya that one. I’m just ready to get this dam thing over with , kick their ass and move on to our next game. - - - They better have a plan in place instead of the false front where they have security lined around the court and then when time comes it’s like - - OLAY- let me step aside so you can bull rush some KU player or staff. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Added Weber: “You can’t do anything about [last month’s fight]. You just hope they play the right way on Saturday. I hope they’ll be shaking hands after the game.”
Weber won’t take any responsibility here. Almost makes it seem like a KU problem. Bruce’s deflection game is strong. Pussy…perfect.

I miss the good ole days of the streak. No not the nationally adored conference win streak. I mean the no losses in Brambledge coliseum streak. The no losses in Manhattan from 83-07 streak was fun to rub in the mild cats faces when they got too rowdy back in the day.

@dylans we should start a new one today. I haven’t updated my numbers but a couple of years ago we had won 91% of the games VS KSU since 1990 in basketball. They have won a couple since then so it probably like 87% or something but I’ve always called it the most one sided rivalry in all of sports.

I appreciate the upbeat thoughts there. I could see that being a factor in some improved play if that’s what it really takes. I’m just surprised the year away from basketball and all that he went through to get eligible wasn’t the kick-starter. What more motivation do you need then that set of circumstances.
Self really did try and give him the opportunity and it wasn’t looking good. I had extremely high hopes for Silvio coming into the season and it hasn’t worked out. Some players have a hard time finding a role here and that’s what he looked like he was struggling to find. It’s disappointing given how much he helped salvage the season 2 years ago.

My only explanation is he took the year off. That would explain going backwards and losing timing and speed of the game.
At his age and development level, he should have done nothing but climb in his year off. We would have settled for the Silvio we got the first season after January.

Silvio barely played his freshman year. He only played 175 minutes his freshman year. He did not play enough that year for his flaws to be exposed. Silvio only had something like two good games that year. His issues this year were a lack of experience, plain and simple.

You are right. But I still expect to see a lot more out of a guy with his athleticism and a year to learn Selfball. Our freshmen looked better from the very beginning.
He looked better just walking into the program two years ago.
Guys get redshirted to improve their game. He hasn’t improved and it can be argued that he regressed.

Almost as if he disappeared since the suspension. I am guessing that he has practiced like normal since it happened. Any word on reinstatement?

Silvio was running scout team last season, not playing Selfball so he wasn’t running KU sets.
