Interesting take for Oklahoma St getting Avery Anderson the 3rd. They currently don’t have any open scholarships but that always works itself out.
Texas Tech trending for 4 star guard Top 40 Jahmius Ramsey. Playing at Oak Hill this season. Chris Beard parlaying the Evans/Smith/Culver success into recruiting!

Yeah, someone will get cut loose, their roster isn’t exactly stacked.
As for Ramsey he would be a huge addition for the overall talent of the league. I thought he wasn’t deciding until late but things change and it’s not like I was following his recruitment that closely since KU isn’t involved.

Tigerboard took Braun going to KU very hard. Woof. Even some good old Brandon Rush hate got dredged up.
Missouri wasn’t even in the picture. KSU would have been his destination if KU didn’t offer. OU was probably his third choice. Missouri was maybe…5th?

Coaches always want the first or last. The first because they get to set the bar for other visits. Self especially loves it because KU consistently puts on the best official visits. And like you said, being last may bias a kid your direction (recency bias).

Big 12 is getting deeper every day. If Kruger isn’t careful, he will be sitting last in the League in 2019-20.
TCU will be strong. Tech will be solid. WVU will be a headache. Oklahoma State is improving. K-State will still have some solid pieces. Baylor will be okay. Texas is shifting to more Shaka at VCU type style, so they will be a pain. Iowa State will have talent. And of course, Kansas is Kansas.
Oklahoma is the only school in the conference that is trending the wrong way in basketball. Everyone else is getting better, so OU looks like they will be surpassed if recruiting does not pick up.

So in a matter of weeks James went from a lock to Duke to Clemson, and then picks Tennessee. Gotta love recruiting!

There is almost no chance Dotson is a 4 year guy.
Scenario: open scholarship, Vick graduates, Dedric, Grimes, Doke and Silvio all leave early.
Dream class: Braun, McBride, Stanley, Chandler, JRE, Hurt.
And feel free to sub Kai Jones for JRE or Hurt.
McBride, Braun and Stanley is a nice group for the perimeter. Stanley comes in and starts at the 2G replacing Grimes while McBride and Braun don’t mess up the minutes for incumbent playes and can take time to develop. I really really like McBride assuming he keeps developing.

Also I would 100% take Silvio staying instead of adding a 5* big. I love Silvio.

As of today I think that’s a realistic scenario, just swap Silvio and Chandler. We’ll get a lot better feel on a couple guys after Late Night. There’s always the Wiseman pipe dream too.

I don’t think Devon is here for 4 years - - -more like 3 - I don’t see him as a 2 yr player but neither 4. Man wouldn’t that be a sweet haul the one’s you mentioned?- - - -Like others say if we could get Silvio to come back for a JR year - and then have either or Hurt or Robinson Earle – I’ll take the JR DeSousa over 2 5 star freshman - -and if it came to that - I personally as much as I like JRE’S game - -I still almost think I’d rather take Hurt & DeSousa - other then JRE & Silvio - - - Would be nice to pick up McBride as a solid 4 year pg also. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I read where OU got their 2nd commit today. – Victor Iwvakor a 6’8 center # 81 player in the country - -he joining the # 36 ranked player De’vion Harmon - -plus they are in on a player ranked # 102 at the present Jalen Hill a 6’7 SF - -OU currently ranked as the 14th best in the country recruiting wise - -sounds like a decent class we shall see. - Also on a little side note also read where Antoine is recruiting hard to try and get JRE and or Hurt & Stewart to come to Villanova to play with him I sure the hell don’t want to see either Hurt OR JRE land there. - - Earle just had his visait there last weekend. - Would love to see a commit out of him shortly after late night to KU. – ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

If we land any of those assumed Memphis bound kids, you have to think the Lawson’s had a big impact. And that Self knew they were 1000% worth the risk.
