  LL will be better tonight just needs to settle in and do what he is capable of rebound and defense, LL is a Jayhawk although disappointed at times with him I still love him, as I do most hawks.

  @BShark Definitely, seems like until they actually sign its hard to take what any of these kids/recruiting experts say for granted. Grimes sounds promising, some 2019 kids seem promising as well. Hopefully promising turns into results

  @Barney I think Frank does what coach wants him to do. Frank has muscled up more, he doesn’t seem to have a problem w/adjustment. I don’t buy the Bragg hasn’t adjusted to his stronger body yet.

  @betterfireE I’m not convinced that we have a good scheme for 4-1 as a standard formation. I suppose drive and dish, but are we a better 3 point shooting team than last year? Will Self actually make that transition? IDK

  The crazy thing is Duke is still quite good without them. KU could still lose. Allen and Kennard will literally play the entire game though, so maybe we can wear Duke down a bit.

  P.S.: Self, as he ages, is increasingly attracted to any tactic that makes opposing coaches prepare for more possibilities. The “stretch 4” is quintessential. Now he loves the “ubiquitous 3”–the 3 who might show up anywhere from 1 to 5. It’s not just Josh. He has been experimenting since BRush with the ubiquitous 3, but he hasn’t found guys that could do more than swing 3-4, or 2-3. Swinging 2-3 really doesn’t help, since both are just wing positions. He wants to swing inside and out; that is what really stresses a defensive scheme and complicates preparation. I reckon he likes stressing opposing coaches with multiple offense, because he now has the edge over most in experience AND he knows how many 2 in 3 and 3 in six situations arise.

  @Crimsonorblue22 CF trying to run the offense, but I think that takes him out of his element. He was a straight-up scorer in h.school, almost exactly like Frank Mason was in high school. Frank can still do it at the Div.1 level, while Frankamp, with his slight build and slower speed, simply cannot. Frankamp’s forte may well be taking few well-timed shots, picking his moments. A high-efficiency type. The way that WSU team is built (not unlike KU), they just arent going to run their entire offense thru a 5’11, slow-footed, average-athleticism guard. Neither was KU. I wish CF and his dad would get that. Maybe making Frank Mason play a 1-on-1 exhibition vs CF might have opened CF’s and his dad’s eyes to reality? And there’s about 8-10 guys on WSU’s roster that are bigger, faster, stronger than CF.

  @wrwlumpy good shot lol its so hard to rank our clutch shots outside of Marios because it was the most important. This one, Bmacs for OT vs ISU, Giddens for OT vs GT, Langfords for the win next year vs GT, Wigs tip in to beat TT. Maybe we should do a ranking on them lol.
