BYU & St. Mary’s both have a decent shot to make the tourney. That’d make it 3 from the WCC…not bad for a mid-major

Nutso finish to Oregon-Arizona.
Ducks make a layup to take the lead with 1.7 seconds in OT, then Zona gets fouled after a fullcourt pass. U of A misses two FTs that would’ve won the game. Oregon wins instead.

Maryland has the inside edge to that 1 seed in the East with all of the action today so far. I still think Gonzaga and SDSU both end up in the West region as the 1 and 2 seeds.

Arizona also had an 80% FT shooter miss a pair of FT’s at the end of regulation that would’ve won it. The kid who missed them in OT was only 40% from the FT line this year so basically if we had to count on Doke to make a FT in that same scenario.

@Texas-Hawk-10 Was doing major channel-surfing, so I didn’t catch the FT stats on the Wildcat players. You’re right about Doke…in that case we could only hope for a Hoosiers-style finish.

I stayed up and watched the Gonzaga game last night against BYU. I think I could think of some other teams I’d rather play in the tourney then BYU.
We beat them early in the Maui tourney 71-56 however they didn’t have Childs then. - -He went off last night for 28-10 - -they shoot 43 % from the 3 Haws is a pretty decent player, would rather play them late. - -Sure I think the way we are playing we could win - but if I had my choice let’s hold off till later on that - -really good 3 point shooting teams always make me cringe. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Yeah, BYU in the tourney would be a tough draw. I think that they’re a Sweet 16 team

I’m a little worried about this OSU game. Sandwiched in between Baylor and the stool rematch. They have been playing much better as of late, winning 3 of the last 5. Should be 4 because they got hosed in Waco. It should be a 20+ point win, but we can’t afford to sleep walk into it.

SDSU had a bad loss on Saturday night but ultimately it may benefit them if they fall to the 2 line in Gonzaga’s region. Being sent East where Duke or Nova could be the #2 is bull crap anyway.
I watched SDSU and I didn’t see #1 seed but I also think they played terrible on offense. I think I need to watch a few more of their games to see what their A game looks like. The problem outside the Top 4 teams from this weekend is that nobody deserves a #1 seed except maybe Dayton. It seems like they are doing all they can to keep Dayton from moving up in the polls. Maryland was on a big surge but just lost on the road to Ohio St. Duke has played nobody for most of the season. The gap from KU/Baylor/Zags/SDSU/Dayton I think is significant.

Agree .You watch though the NCAA Tourney people if they keep going they being ( Kentucky ) -I think they are ranked # 7 these people will do all they can if UK keeps winning as they are 1st in the SEC now - -they will try their best to try and slide them in as a # 1. - and like you say if they can’t get them in then and/or they will try to get Duke in and let them play on the East Coast - - AGAIN

Good point. Dayton if they win out has to be right there too but obviously they are always going to pick a power 5 over A-10
