Other Games Tonight
-
Indiana (-5.5) and Villanova (-7) are playing at home and they should win.
-
@JayHawkFanToo - it will be interesting to see Romeo Langford play for Indiana. I don’t think he has much of a supporting cast.
-
I’ll take Marquette over Indiana tonight.
-
Indiana has several players coming back and is predicted to finish in the top 4. Archie Miller is a very good coach, perhaps the best of the younger coaches, and would be on my list of potential replacements for Coach Self when he retires.
-
I like Marquette straight up over Indiana. Indiana returns a worse team than Marquette, only Romeo is the difference. I don’t think he’s enough.
I think Duke covers the massive 26 point spread.
I think UK does not cover the massive 26 point spread.
I think Florida Covers and Nebraska Covers.
I like Michigan to cover and I like Michigan and Villanova to be under the 138 O/U.
I like Houston to cover the 24 point spread against Rice.
I like Boston College to cover.
I don’t like MSU to cover.
I like Arizona to cover against a truly awful UTEP team.
Notre Dame probably covers 12 on Radford.
Wyoming probably covers 13 on Grambling. Both truly awful teams though.
I like Saint Marys to beat NMSU, but it should be a good one.
-
Michigan up on Nova early in a rematch of the championship game
-
@BeddieKU23 Belein is a great defensive coach.
-
Doke would’ve had a T on that growl!
-
Woah, Michigan made about last season? Yeesh!

Michigan points against this season: 44, 37 and now just 13 points in 16 minutes for Nova…
-
@BShark They look fantastic. Amazing they are only ranked 18th.
-
Jay giving up?

Yeah, against Norfolk St. and Holy Cross… I expected Villanova to be a little different.
-
Jre, you wanna change your mind?
-
Apparently Brunson, Bridges, DiVincenzo, and Spellman were an important part of that team last season. Who knew.

I find it hilarious that Michigan, with a Kentucky cast-off (Charles Matthews) is better than Kentucky.
Belein doing it again here folks… Simpson #67 Poole #93, Livers #133, Teske #142
Best player development around!
@KirkIsMyHinrich Well yeah, but still.
-
@BShark I want Nova to win because it helps KU, but I can’t say I’m too sad about what’s happening right now.
-
I think Nova is saving all of their made field goals for the game in Lawrence.
-
So apparently Luke Yaklich has a lot to do with their defense. Interesting.
-
Per @ESPNStatsInfo, this is Villanova’s biggest halftime deficit since Feb. 3, 2003, when St. Joe’s led them by 28.
-
Soooooooo is the media going to talk about how BAD Jahvon Quinerly is? YIKES.
-
Dam , I turned on the game to Watch some Villanova - - Michigan. wouldn’t you know = all I got was a Michigan practice/scrimmage lmao’ - - I could of swore they were suppose to play. lol
Now I know they have a 2nd half - -but man Michigan all up in that Villanova ass - -lol , you think they miss the 4 that went to the NBA? -gonna be really really hard to come back from a 27 point deficit. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
I wonder what their low for a half is. It can’t be much fewer than 17 points.

He barely played in that half. I mean in general. Quinerly is not ready. Wright doesn’t trust him. Wright isn’t playing a 5* PG OMG HE IS A MONSTER CAN’T BE TRUSTED LIKE BILLY SELF.

I bet JRE can’t wait to play the 3 in this prolific offense.
-
Remember when KU made MSU’s offense look alright? http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=401082472
-
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
-
Let’s check in on ranked Clemson!

Man explain to me how the officials came up with that call when they started to get in the little scuffle.
I think it was brooks that stripped the ball was getting ready to break out for Michigan just flat ass grabbed and heled him and yet they CALLED Brooks for a hook and hold while the kid that grabbed him got noting - - ya ok I call BS
-
30 points with like 32 minutes played.-We all know Villanova is better then this -tonight they look like warm leftover Dog doo lmao. ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
cmon Michigan…get it back to 30…
-
4 minutes left and Quinerly has only played 5 minutes. Didn’t start. Hhmmmm…

JAY WRIGHT BURIES 5* FR ON THE BENCH. I NEED THIS NARRATIVE FROM THE NATIONAL MEDIA LIKE THEY DID WITH BILL.
passes out
-
Indiana burying Marquette…
-
Jeff Borzello @jeffborzello
Here’s a wild one from @ESPNStatsInfo … There have been SIX instances ever where a top-10 team lost at home by 25-plus.
Villanova now has THREE of those six (tonight, 2014 Creighton, 1995 Georgetown).
-
Some interesting results, Notre Dame upsets at home by Radford and Boston College also upset at home by IUPUI.
Duke starters went 1-11 from 3 and the rest of the team 4-13 for a putrid 20.8%, I guess they feel that with their 3 starters scoring inside they don’t need outside shooting and it might turn out to be their Achilles heel.
Michigan beats Nova, Indiana over Marquette and Nebraska over Seton Hall and the Big 10 goes 3-0 over the Big East.
-
Ignas Brazdeikis is legit for Michigan. Freshman is averaging 16 and 6 so far.
-
Future opponent alerts: New Mexico St gets beat by 15 by Saint Mary’s. Marquette gets embarrassed by Indiana by 23.
-
@BeddieKU23 If you watched that game, guy is an animal. Hope he goes pro after this season.
Michigan looks like a top 5 team. Can play solid defense, have good guard play, and can shoot 1-5.

Yeah I have seen him play. I thought he was an underrated recruit (#40) but I am a bit surprised he’s this good this early. He definitely makes Michigan formidable if he’s the 2nd scorer to Matthews. Changes everything for this team.
I think Michigan was a motivated group last night after losing the NC game to them. Villanova is going to struggle after losing so much but I don’t think anyone could have predicted this kind of struggle. Like the Duke game last week I’m not ready to overreact but Michigan has put themselves in the top tier conversation if they can play like that over the course of the season/post season
-
Nova looks like a 2 man team. And Booth really isn’t able to create his own shot well enough to carry them, imo. Their PG play is atrocious too though. They look like an early exit this season.
-
Watched the IU/Marquette game last night. Man I wish Grimes would drive it like Romeo.
-
Too early to tell but sure looks like Nova will not be anywhere close to last season but then, it has been only a couple of games and maybe Wright will right the ship. Same situation with Kentucky.
-
@JayHawkFanToo And, interestingly, both are on our schedule.
-
Hopefully KU will play to its potential and win both games convincingly.
