tx guy on the Phog with RJ info had some stuff to share about Jalen. Basically though he was SHOCKED by this happening and is still trying to process it. He was all set to move to Ann Arbor soon and start summer classes.
I’d imagine. Honestly, it feels like a pretty shitty thing for Beilein to do this late. Screws over players and his staff pretty hard.

I think it’s pretty hard to do everything right leaving a high profile school. Always had a lot of respect for Beilein. Maybe he’s a private guy and didn’t want to disrupt anyone, and didn’t think it was going to happen. I give him the benefit of the doubt here. And also, a free pass for a midlife changeup.

It was a weird decision. He must’ve been disgusted by the recruiting payola. The way he exited wasn’t good, but I’ve seen worse. Like Chris Beard walking out on UNLV three weeks into the job.

KU was one of his 6 schools he was considering before he committed to Michigan.
I always felt Wilson was one that got away. Had a sort of Tyler Davis feel to it in a way.
It sounds like whoever they hire will be the only thing that matters. If they wait out the hire we’re probably getting excited about nothin burgers.

Doing this in Mid-May is a pretty crappy thing to do, regardless of whether or not you’re typically a nice guy.
Screws over current players. Screws over recruits. Screws over the program and university that you spent 12 years at. Screws over assistant coaches.
His only responsibility is to himself, but I’d sure feel like a real asshole doing this the way he did it and especially in the time frame that it happened.

totally agree 100% - gave no thought to players or staff seems pretty crappy. - -just walking out on everybody. - -HA different sport but along time ago - -this would be like the pro football franchise that moved out of the City they played in - -in the middle of the night like trying to get out of town with no one knowing - just leaving the City in like What the hell.
Just there was ALOT of ways he could of shown a little more class - instead twitter - seems pretty sad

Did some searching on the Michigan board – seems like their fans too seem to believe that Wilson will ask for his release and come commit to Ku - -the main reason is because of him and RJ being best friends - -thing is we got to get RJ to come here 1st lol - -which I think is looking better,
Bossi mentioned he thought Wilson was under rated at 50 - in the National rankings - said he has a really good shot - says he thought he ought to be `10-15 spots higher

Hopefully it will all be over this weekend with RJ. He is literally make or break for next years team. Precious and Watford are for sure announcing this weekend so that will be all of the top 50 recruits except for Jaden McDaniels.
Although, you have to think Michigan is going to get a high major coach so there still could be more de commits pending who they hire.

Was checking out the Michigan boards and there was a guy I think he is one of their insiders guy just like we have us who try and keep us up to date with their players/recruiting and such
Guy named Eathen Sears and this was Yesterday he said: Just got off the phone with Jalen , and Jalen has said that multiple Michigan assistants have reached out to him - - -Jalen said he is still committed to Michigan and that Jalen ha d also talked to Cole Bajema who also is still committed to Michigan
I’m just not really that sure about Jalen asking for his release. - - Also seen this today off the board. - -Jalen has said he is going to wait to see who Michigan hires before he makes a decision & see what the new Coach’s sales pitch is.
Some people had said he had removed all his Michigan stuf off twitter, but was noted on the Michigan board that he was still following several Michigan players and such - - - I am not really expecting him coming - I think he stays put. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

So Adam Zagoria just tweeted that his prediction for Precious was KU. He only tweets out predictions days before the announcements and is hardly ever wrong. I am still not sold we get him, but I was surprised by this.
