@HighEliteMajor At least 3 of our 6 attempts have been from about 24 feet. Only one that was a clean look at the line was DG from the corner and he missed it.

Yes they are hot…but most of those 3s have been wide open. No excuse for letting them get that far open.

When a team is in that kind of a zone there not much you can do, broke an Tournament record for 3 points made in the first half alone. 39 of their 47 points from 3. The question is…can they stay that hot? The half time breK might actually work against them…or not…

Well, we’ll see what we have coming out at half. 15 seems insurmountable against such a good team. But CBB is a crazy game. If we can get it to 10 by 15 minutes, then we’re in a position to chip away. Long shot, but the game isn’t over.

We came back against OU I recall late many moons ago, down by 15 or something like that. We did vs. WVU. But now, we have 20 minutes. Better to be here, right now, than not in the FF.

@HighEliteMajor Well, we did almost squander a 20 point lead to Clemson, so anything is possible. But, I fear that Villanova is simply the better team. And, no shame in that - would be in contrast to some other recent tournament losses where I really thought we were the better team, but failed to play like it…

I feel like beating Duke was just too epic. Kind of like Wisconsin beating Kentucky before Duke… Except the refs really helped Duke in that one.

Tough having Doke’s mom coming out, worried that was too much emotional luggage in a game where Doke was not the best option down low.

Only way we have a chance is to speed up the tempo. Doke is too slow. Id go with lightfoot. He can close out faster and affect shots at the rim.
