Given Arizona’s prominent role in the headlines just a few weeks ago I don’t feel one twinge of sadness for them. These announcers are acting like it never happened. This may rank as the biggest butt kicking ever for a double digit seed in the tournament.
-
@wissox It’s Arizona. Even if the FBI thing never happened they deserved this!
-
Arizona just straight up got their ass kicked tonight.
-
Arizona and Sean Miller are dead.

@BShark Just need to cut ties with Miller to salvage the program. He’ll land on his feet if he really does come out clean in the end.
-
49-30 in the second half. Just wow.
-
@Kcmatt7 They are going into the stone age and I for one welcome it.
-
Only negative aboiut this ass beating is that it was a former Missouri player who led the charge. Although he was smart enough to eventually leave Missouri.
-
He’s not clean. They have audio on him. Totally agree Arizona need to cut ties with him to salvage the school.
-
Michigan’s fab 5 ruined shorts for the last 25 years by making them all baggy and long, but they got a guy #4 that’s trying to bring decent shorts back! I h ope it catches on although I don’t have any of my 80’s shorts left!
Speaking of Miller, I was naming him as a potential replacement for Self about 5 years ago when he was still at Xavier. I hope you all can forgive me.
-
Arizona was beotch slapped by Buffalo in one of the more p embarrassing losses and the program has now officially replaced Missouri as the new dumpster fire.
-
Loyola beat Florida in Gainesville this year. How is FLorida a 6 seed and Loyola an 11?
-
What was that Bill Walton was saying about the “Conference Of Champions”?
Oh, I guess he was talking about water polo…
-
@nwhawkfan Sure wasn’t hoops. No teams in the round of 32.
-
Pac 12 didn’t even reach the 1st weekend this year. 0-3 and they’re done for the year.
-
Hey, there’s still a chance to win the NIT and become the 89th best team in the land.
-
Oops…69th

MVC.
-
All 3 PAC 12 teams gone…this has to be the worst showing by a Power 5 conference ever; could not even win the 2 play-in games.
-
Heck, they barely reached the 2nd half of the first round.
-
As a consolation prize most PAC12 fans live in some truly amazing places.
-
@DoubleDD Proof?
-
Perhaps not dead but on life support. Miller did no do himself any favors with this loss; much easier to fire a coach after such a poor showing. Think about it, Arizona was ranked #3 pre-season and #2 in the fourth week…quite a long fall since then.

I know that Espn isn’t a legit site. Yet to be honest I’m not sure what a legit site is anymore?
-
I haven’t read yet but I imagine the post game for the Arizona game was great!
Question to Deandre Ayton: How do you feel about this loss?
Ayton: I’m declaring for the NBA.
Is that accurate?
-
I did mention Arizona didn’t play as a team. 3 Individuals (Ayton, Trier, Alkins) were auditioning for their NBA careers most nights. It was downright hilarious how many experts thought Ayton would be the reason they made it to the Final 4… Really good talent but not a leader and who would expect him to be one as a freshman
-
@BeddieKU23 The Pac 12 is now “Pac and Ship”. No more Pac 12 teams, so the dirtiest conference in college basketball went a sparkling 0-3.

Yupp and I’m not the least bit surprised or upset about it. I just get a laugh at all the people on tv that have to eat crow for picking Arizona to win the tourney or make the final 4

Speaking of auditioning for the NBA… Malik looks to me like he is doing that right now. He forced up some stuff late in yesterdays game when he should have worked the clock. Felt like he was auditioning … I was naively hoping he would stick around for another year (I always hope they do) I’m not holding out hope

Good eye. Spotted the same. If it wasn’t for foul trouble he might have jacked more. The thing is everyone wants Newman to be aggressive he’s a scorer who plays better overall when he’s making shots but there is a line he needs to balance. Certainly looked as if he lost sight of that yesterday.

@JayHawkFanToo Others won’t be far behind.

@DanR I thought Vick had more energy than I had seen awhile.
-
@Barney Vick played pretty well I think.

Made a couple 3’s as well. Seemed really engaged
