@Kcmatt7 ya one my buddies just called and we are both at the same place. It stinks in one hand because this is one of if not the most talent Kansas Football team in program history. But as I told my 9 year old today there is a reason why the windshield is bigger than the rear view mirror.

I’m so proud of these guys - -what a game. Actually pretty well dominated. They had NO Answer for us/Devin ALLLL DAY, mercy gonna miss this group.
This has just got to help our cause for sure in completion of the Stadium , Hell even our Defense bowed up when needed most the time - Another big thing ZERO TURNOVERS
Actually you look- -should be 5-0 losing to K/State. 2 points away from beating top 25 teams four weeks in a row – -We actually oh what a year this close to be 11-1 on the year if not for some really lousy luck

I’ll add the fact that our strength of schedule was in the 90s to start the year and now it’s top 5 in the country. We supposedly lucked out playing ASU instead of Arizona, not playing OSU, Utah and UCF. We play the top 9 teams in this conference with Baylor coming up in a week.
Illinois was supposed to be a team that had to make a bowl to keep their the coach. They are now have 8 wins and are ranked in the top 25. UNLV lost a lot in the transfer portal and was a big question mark. They too are now a top 25 team in the CFB. Every single FBS team we have played is bowl eligible except Houston most have been for weeks. Lindenwood who just moved up to FCS competition wasn’t supposed to win more than 2 games. Even they finished their season 5-7 much better than expected. The combined record of our opponents is unbelievable. Moral of the story is preseason rankings don’t mean much.

This season … if only. this is how we all expected them to play from the git go.

There’s a batshit insane scenario that could result in an 8 way tie for first at 6-3. ASU losing to Arizona would drop ASU to 6-3. BYU losing to Houston would drop BYU to 6-3. Colorado losing to Oklahoma St. would drop CU to 6-3. Iowa St. beating Utah tonight and losing to KSU next week would put both ISU and KSU at 6-3. TCU beating Cincy would put TCU at 6-3. Baylor beating Houston tonight and us next weekend would put Baylor at 6-3. And lastly the winner of the Texas Tech-WVU game would be at 6-3.
All us would prefer Baylor not reach 6-3, but an 8 way tie is a scenario that could happen.

Playoff team probably not but wouldn’t surprise me if we had a better record, especially if JD6 runs it back.

Wow, Baylor had a 3 game losing streak to the 3 teams we just beat, but they’ve won 4 straight since then.

@wissox well…I put up Christmas lights with my wife ALL morning. We narrowly avoided a double homicide
Then we took a nice drive to a American Indian establishment and made a contribution. I checked my phone a few times and was pleasantly surprised. I listened to much of the second half on the way home and got to see the last 9 minutes at our favorite Mexican restaurant.

@BShark Teams take after their coaches, Deion and Co are constantly running their mouths, acting like a bunch of gangsters and what not. The only player on that team I’m interested in drafting is Hunter the rest are gonna get humbled real fast on Sundays. Now I’ll give them some credit they are 8-3 and will make a bowl game but have only played one ranked team and have a very weak schedule. I’ve literally never seen a team with less class and composure than them yesterday. It makes it really funny because KU completely dominated them in every aspect of the game. Better play calling in the red zone and that’s a 25 plus point victory for the hawks.

Damon Greaves our punter had his family make the trip to KC from Australia to watch him play yesterday…… he never got to punt lol good problem to run into. I’m sure they still enjoyed the game and being able to see Damon for the first time in months

All the Colorado people/commentators - -saying Sanders having every right to be upset - -saying KU player took a dirty cheap shot. I honestly hadn’t even noticed anything , but there are several video’s of the play they are talking about.
Maybe true the play they are talking about was a hit from Miller , but I honestly don’t think Miller was intentionally trying to. - to end anybody’s career. -they are saying good thing Sanders didn’t have his cleats still locked in the turf- -Ya Dean did come in pretty late, Sanders had released the throw some before Dean came in with the hit. - - The Big thing they pissed about was the hit was below the knees

That was a pretty nasty hit. Knee breaker. I would have been pissed had Colorado done that to Daniels. But no flag, right?

Yea, just a football play. it happens. I don’t see any Kansas guys as that type of player. Anything that happens to a “Sanders” is upped to another level of discussion.

I personally don’t think the hit was that egregious on Sanders, in real time it’s slightly late and WRs,RBs, TEs, etc take hits like like that on daily basis. He was outside the tackle box and near the line of scrimmage like he was running. Joel Klatt and these talking heads saying it’s the dirtiest hit they ever seen is a bunch of bull shit.
