Old friend/commit Tre White back in the portal, leaving Louisville.
Joshua Jefferson of Saint Mary’s in, Soph forward averaged 10 and 6. Didnt play in the tournament for some reason.
Utah St freshman starter Mason Falslev averaged 11 and 4 off 56% shooting. Avg 9 and 5 in 2 tournament games.

1100 entries I see. Wanting play time or better NIL? I wonder if the rating makers at Rivals, etc. are looking at their choices and seeing how right and wrong they ended up being. Furphy is sitting at around 15 in the draft. He’s gotta be gone isn’t he? I am going to watch Edey as a pro to see if he has modern center skills. There are so many mobile big guys from international countries playing now.

Knee injury for the Saint Mary’s kid (my neck of the woods).

Lampkin. So funny. Even my wife, who occasionally watches a KU game with me, recognizes and hates Lampkin. She calls him the troublemaker who quit on his team!

Isaiah Moss begs to differ. He was a more than serviceable off the bench for KU and was a good defender here.

Speaking of flopping did anyone notice that Kevin kept begging for calls all year long? Instead of hustling back on D or going for the loose ball he would throw his arms up and look at the ref with a disgusted look - every time there was contact it seemed. That attitude bothered me. Fouled or not if you don’t hear the whistle go hard.

Gus Yalden now in the portal. I’m really pissed about this one, I wanted to see him play in Madison. No one knows how good he’ll be but he was a 4 star who didn’t play because of two misdemeanors just before the season started for marijuana and underage drinking. The team was silent on his status all season which was kind of frustrating. Maybe the truth will come out and I’ll realize he shouldn’t be playing at all. But if he can be fixed up he supposedly has a lot of game.

Minnesota forward Soph Pharrell Payne in, avg 10 and 6 with 1.4 blks per. Apparently one that got better as the season went on.

@jayballer67 Yalden ‘reshirted’ in part because of underage drinking ticket, a separate time he got caught with weed in his dorm, and then he crashed his moped on campus before the season started. He’s a very skilled below-the-rim PF who likely peeked as a HS soph. He also went to four high schools in four years. Could turn into something, but not worth the risk for KU

@dylans He did, but to his defense, he got hammered more than most guys and rarely got a call.
That said, the game has certainly evolved and the amount of contact allowed seems to be higher than ever.
So he probably was thinking “hey, that was a foul” and it probably was… last year. Not this year.
There have been quite a few games in the tourney where I’ve been stunned with the physicality. I guess it’s time for players and fans like me to adjust.

I think ultimately Isaacs will be found not guilty/the case thrown out if current rumors are true. But still…I wouldn’t take him.
I don’t know as much about the Shannon case/situation.

So after reading this seems a bad situation all the way around. One thing right off is, if it’s different in where this took place then here in the States. now these two girls Doe, and her 16 yr old friend were with Doe’s parents, understand now the question is when I was or one of the times, when in Vegas and gambling no minors were allowed anywhere in the Gambling area , and in this situation the two minores were there in a gambling area with Doe’s parents.
I know minor thing , but just curious why or how they were allowed to be thee with being minors, cause yes that’s where you have your Achol, served and such. - OK, so this reads that Doe became intoxicated , now if they were with Doe’s parents in the gambling area how did Doe become intoxicated in front of her parents ? - -They were allowing this 17 yr old to drink and get drunk in front of them - -while around them ? - - The parents allow Doe and her 16 yr old friend to wander off and be with Popd and his teammate ?
Now don’t misunderstand at all but seems like a little bit of lack of parental control / Supervision of these minor girls while in the gambling area. If Doe became intoxicated she was drinking in front of her parents ? The article said she became intoxicated , yes probably she continued to drink after they left and went to Pop’s teammates room, but think she started while around the Parents --Pops & Team mate and this Booster. I just don’t get why the parents would allow these two to leave them and be around the two players by their selves in that type of environment. - -On top of that you would think after some time the Parents would begin to wonder where the two were - -what did this whole Scenario take place in five minutes - -ten minutes ? -I mean they left with the two players and went to e room, drank some more AND had the sexual intercourse in a five ten minute time frame ? - - -WOW. I know that wasn’t the time period but that would be giving the whole experience a better look s to why the Parents become curious were they were. - They had to be gone longer then that for this situation to take place. Going to the room , drinking , and then the sexual intercourse
Having said all this I dunno , I mean got to be presumes innocent until proven guilty BUT sounds pretty bad Issacs could be in some real trouble having sex with minor. -Just a case where if true a College kid/athlete feeling like they are entitled to whatever and taking advantage kinda sick if true and his teammate text Doe’s dad and said the things about Issacs Not good.
Not trying to defend Pops at all allI am trying to bring out was that sounds like some bad Parental control/supervision on Doe’s parents part that’s all. Plus on top of this WHY was Issacs and his buddy allowed in the gambling area and drinking there on top of this ? - -Again in Vegas no kids und 21 are allowed - -might be wrong on those two – think it’s 221, but if not right I know the girls wasn’t suppose to be in the gambling area being under 18- just another baad situation including athlees
