Spags did a great job with pressure in the second half.
Butker had a miss last couple of games otherwise he is having a phenomenal year.
He is currently the 2nd most accurate kicker of all-time (minimum 100 field goals attempted) behind only Justin Tucker.

@BShark Glad to see that he has moved up again. Last year the injury in Arizona in the first game screwed him up all year, on EPs, too.

Sorry, just had to throw in Iām so proud of my team - -Gb , I had no idea. If you were to tell me that they would make the playoffs in their first year after Rodgers- -would of thought no way. , especially the way they started I think 2-6 - -finish regular season 9-8.
Sure Iām sure next weekend will be their end of Season - -canāt be mad. The Maturation, is that even a word lol lol - -anyways the growth of Jordon Love was crazy, had no idea some of the things he has accomplished this Season in his FIRST year as the starting QB. - -He threw his 31st & 32 TDā passes of the year today which is good for 2nd best in the NFL - -had no idea he had done so well & that 14 of those TDās was on third down which is good for 2nd only behind P Maholmes. - - , Only QB in the NFL to throw for over 1,800 yards - 16 TDāS with ONE interception & have a QBR of 128.8- not to shabby for first year. - -Things look bright for my boys - -youngest team in the NFL. -Been a good year no matter what, anything at all is gravy now.

No. That was negotiated in during his holdout. But he also gave up salary to get it. Probably a wash at best (I donāt know the exact numbers).

Iām with you 100 % , & KC is not my # 1 team but still like them and am pulling for them and wanted to watch them play. - -Just total BS. IMHO, Itās bigger BS than simply signing up and cancelling.
Iām a Comcast/Xfinity customer who is entitled to have complimentary access to Peacock. But because I only use Xfinity for internet (I use YouTube.TV as my streaming and I donāt use the Xfinity cable offer), I donāt get access to Peacock ā unless I let them install a cable box on my network (presumably so they can mine all my viewing data). Itās āfreeā, they say. Yeah right.

@bskeet I signed up through my Roku. If you donāt use cable, Roku is a nice app for all our streaming services. (You can load lots of streaming services onto the Roku homepage. Some smart TVs, like Samsung a few years ago, donāt have a full selectionābut those may be different now. Our LG does.)

@dylans yep I think this maybe the last hurrah for the chiefs ādynastyā if you want to call it that. 8 straight division titles, 5 afc championship games, 3 Super Bowl appearances and 2 rings. Jones is gone, Sneed is likely gone, Gay, Nnadi and Allegretti are all in contract years as well several others. Just donāt see them keeping most of these guys with the cap space they have. I think they stand a chance because the defense has been one of the best since DT was roaming the field in KC. Offense will be fine if they keep down penalties and turnovers.

Iām not seeing the end of the Chiefs dynasty. If those guys leave, there should be cap space to sign replacements, right?
Sneed leaving is the biggest scare for me. He would be hard to replace.
IF the Chiefs flame out in the playoffs, the GM surely will go after some offensive game changers.

Running it back doesnāt seem to work anyway. You need roster churn. I really hope they can hold on to Sneed. Chris Jones is fantastic, but the cap space is too limited to give him 30 mil a year. Donāt want to end up in cap hell like the chargers.

@kjayhawks Chiefs still have great talent. Their issues have been with drops and TOs, stupid stuff which can be fixed.
D has significant young talent.
I am optimistic.

@kjayhawks I think as long as Mahomes is QB and Veatch can surround him with skilled players, Chiefs should be able to compete for SB.
I see this year as an exception, and I am confident that Chiefs brass will learn from it.

I was just thinking how spoiled we as fans have become, recall Chiefs misery of 90s and 2000s.
Chiefs won AFC West again and are #3 seed while hosting a playoff game at home.

So is KC doing at least a local over the air telecast so KC fans can watch without the peacock? I hope this thing backfires so badly on the NFL that it and other sports never consider putting games on a streaming device.

@wissox The NFL has already made 110 million dollars on the game. They donāt care if anyone tunes in. Peacock is the only one that stands to lose (as they paid that 110 million bucks for one game!)

The only way Mahomesā helmet gets shattered is from helmet to helmet contact. Again, no call by the refs. The refs missed a lot of calls in the Miami game.

That sure was an interesting season! Glad we have a place to talk Chiefs. Fantastic ending!!
So the off-season could be very interesting. Veach and Co. have decisions to make.
We very well could lose some big names. Sneed is at the top of the keeper list for me. CBs like that arenāt a dime a dozen.
And the offensive line! Wow. Could be two or more changes there.
I donāt pay too much attention to cap space, but the Chiefs have about $30M to play with. Almost league average.
Chris Jones is gonna get big money here or elsewhere.
Weāll have one or two new running backs next year to back up Pacheco.
Lots of stuff to talk about in the off-season.
