Does he or the staff not see how efficient we are offensively with 4 around big Hunt? Do they just ignore the numbers?
When you post at me right before Christmas when I’m traveling and with family then having a routine procedure to clean up an old injury I’ll almost certainly miss it. Get on my calendar if you want an answer to a direct inquiry thx

Even if the 5x5 rule passes (which I think it will come April), I don’t expect anyone affected from the current roster (it’s 2 guys) to be invited back unless some weird stuff happens. Expect another very heavy portal class.

@approxinfinity 5 years to play 5 years. Currently you have 5 years to play 4 years. This wouldn’t affect most of our guys as they have benefited from the covid rules that already gave them an extra year.

@kuballin10 it’s a 5x5 waiver, it wouldn’t affect Juan or Hunt or Diggy. Just KJ and Zeke. A really good source familiar with the thinking.

And that’s the right approach. I think it will pass but not until April, and you can’t bank on that. I could see a world with DP at the 1, Zeke at the 2 but it’s not plan A

So how many scholi’s will we have to max out at 14 ?

Can Self keep any of the walk-ons as managers so he can have a scout team for next season since that’s the biggest role of walk-ons.
Wilder Evers, Will Thengvall seem the only two for sure directly affected by this currently on the roster, maybe Patrick Cassisdy and Dillon Wilhite.
Patrick Cassidy is a senior this season and currently getting his MBA after graduating last year. Wilhite already graduated last year and is working on an MBA right now. Justin Cross is a redshirt junior, so I’m he’s graduating this year as well. Since Cross was a 2 year JuCo player, he’ll probably look at a smaller school to play at while getting a masters degree.

Rightfully so - been that way for years just the portal is finally exposing it. Guys don’t want to be treated like second class citizens when the “favorites” constantly mess up and lose but play through a multitude of mistakes that the new guys get yanked for

Pretty evident other 22+ year olds don’t like seeing the drastic favoritism with how 3 guys are treated compared to the rest of the team. Especially when those “other guys” were brought in to help but have been completely f’d out of playing aggressively and loose and their game
