He only averaged 13.6 boards last year, down from the 15.0 boards the year before, which led the nation. He averaged 18.9 points per game last year on a wide array of post moves and 3 point shooting. He shot .435 from 3. We was the WAC defensive player of the year in 2021 and also 2022.
Boy sounds like he would be really nice, but sounds like we might not have room ? - without Bill doing something Dirty ?-- wonder why a guy like that is transferring out anyways ? - - no playing time ? - - that can’t be
Not dirty- just change Cam’s status to grant in aid, and we got room.

Kansas will face three quality big men in its next three games: IU’s Trayce Jackson-Davis, Harvard’s Chris Ledlum, and Oklahoma State’s Moussa Cisse.
Jayhawks were out rebounded by 29 in games against Duke and Tennessee.
From Jon Rothstein.
-
Wow, Grambling St has taken out Vanderbilt and also Colorado whom beat Tennessee who beat KU. Grambling should be top 5!
-
Bama Gonzaga is unhinged
-
Brandon Miller is really good
-
The natives in Chapel Hill are growing restless

Looking rough so far, but Ohio St is a decent team. Lots of hero ball at the guard position. Bacot looks good though.
-
Not college basketball, but the Indianapolis Colts blew a 33 point lead in the second half to the Vikings and are now in OT.
-
And the Vikings win in OT to finish the biggest comeback in NFL history.
-
Indiana fans are having a great day
-
Manek was significantly better than Nance and it shows.
Really no improvement by any of UNC’s players this off-season… if anything some serious regression
-
Wow just got the shot off in time.
-
Heck of a comeback.
-
Tucky gets smoked again. This has turned out to be quite a nice day!
-
I stand by my pre-season prediction that UNC ain’t it! I still don’t know who is though lol

Hurley was a phenomenal hire.
If one of the freshman bigs can get it together for us so we can match up against size we have a shot. Otherwise we will need some help from the selection committee.
We did well against size yesterday, but that IU team looked poorly coached. That won’t happen against a Purdue or Kentucky.

I hate the fact they’re so good. Their fans are literally elevating them to heights unforseen in human history. We might as well hand them the title because Kenpom says so…lol.
-
KU is elite. We shall see what we have on the road in conference play but I really love the chemistry of this group. They get it.
-
Self has imo ascended even more. He’s been running laps on coaches. Give him 7 days to prepare for anyone and your not beating him

Yeah Woodson is not it but it is too soon for them to move on from him. Probably a few more years of purgatory at least.
I think KU is legit a top 10 team for sure despite all the concerns. CBB is mostly down as a whole.

It is unbelievable the beating Cal is taking on Rupp Rafters. - -I was talking with a friend and said with all the talent Cal has had he has done the least with that talent.
My friend brought up a good point and I agree 100 % - He has all these 5 * and they come in and all individuals - not team concept - in High School it was all about me , me , me - haven’t or won’t adjust - -you have a group of 5 individuals not team.
Coach Self might not get quite as talent but he develops players much bettr. - Example look at McCormick from his Freshman year to last year in the NCAA tourney - I’ll stay with the players and Coach we have
-
@jayballer67 Cal said himself the main goal of UK basketball is NOT national championships but getting players drafted. He’s got the #1 recruiting class next year so they are stuck with him until at least 2025. No Roy, No K, Cal is obsolete, we truly are blessed to have Self as our coach.

Duke down 9 at the half to Wake Forest
-
They have Lively and Whitehead out but they still look pretty bad so far

U Conn down 7 to G’ Town but half way through 2nd half. - - - G’Town was a 22.5 underdog going into their game tonight
Saw Duke was down by 12 in the 2nd half.

Lady Jay Hawks up to # 20 in the Nation in this weeks poll. - - -10 - -0 . - - Actually KU Ladies is the 2nd highest rated team from the Big 12 in the Nation right now.
Iowa State is 14th-- -KU is 20th ---- -Oklahoma is 23 rd - - -& Baylor is 24th - -Not to bad Ladies
Time guys for us to stand up - -be proud of our women - -ROCK CHALK -
-
Iowa State has cancelled their game for tonight and the women tomorrow or the other way around - -but either way they cancelled their game because of the storm.
They said the two Schools both believed it was the best thing to do , giving the athletes a chance to get out early and be able to get home and spend time with family over the holiday.
Just like I/we have said - -think this is the best thing to do - -& I think it will happen. - -Iowa State said their game wouldn’t be r-scheduled
-
Miami is punking Virginia right now.
-
GREAT day for the SEC : Miss St loses to Drake, Wofford beats A & M, N Alabama beats Ole Miss.
-
Baylor only put up 58 points on Northwestern State at home. 58-48 final. Watched this one and KU is 7-10 points better then them right now, at minimum.
-
Oregon lost to Utah Valley at home. Now 7-6. Wonder if Altman will be on the hot seat…

OH MY GOD IOWA
That is the largest spread upset in the history of college basketball. The line was -31.5 Iowa.
Glad it happened to Iowa and Fran McCaffrey.
Edit: Eastern Illinois is 356 KenPom
-
Frantastic!
-
Still haven’t heard or seen anything about the Ladies tonight - -OR the guys tomorrow night . - Ladies surpose to tip off in 15 minutes AT NEBRSKA would think it would be cancelled but heard nothing.
As far as I know guys are still on tomorrow night - -anybody hearing anything ?

Self said yesterday “we know it’s going to be cold, but cold never called off a basketball game”
-
@BeddieKU23 Haha!! Was going to come here and gloat, but ya’ll gloating for me!! Hilarious loss.
-
Thanks for adding the icing on the cake.
Guy has some of the most puzzling defeats almost every year. Their fans must be joyed with him
-
Well our Ladies took their 1st loss to Nebraska tonight at Nebraska - - 85 - - 79 in 3 overtimes. - -Just couldn’t gt that one stop when needed.
We trailed by as many as 13 - -fought back and it was on from their. - -Nebraska really good. - Hadn’t lost at home -beat the crap out of Maryland by 20 plus and are 10-3 now, Nebraska had been ranked earlier this year. - -Still really proud of the Ladies took 3 overtimes to gt beat - - Still doing good ladies - - MERRY CHRISTMAS - ROCK CHALK
-
@BeddieKU23 Their fans love him, well at least most it seems. They have an overdeveloped sense of their teams skill level. Last year was kind of hilarious. Both Iowa and UW were picked to finish in the lower half of the league. While Greg Gard turned a pick of finishing 1oth into a tie for the league, Iowa turned a pick of finishing 9th into 4th and earning a bye in the BIG tournament. While Gard was hands down the winner, many Hawkeye fans Fran should have gotten it for his ‘accomplishment’ of earning a bye. And they were serious. I’m glad I’m not a homer like that!
-
Arizona State got absolutely wrecked by San Francisco tonight. Losing by 44 with 4:35 left
-
Dons may have scored more in the first half than ASU will score the entire game
-
Well…Looky here: “The win marked Eastern Illinois’ fourth in program history over a Power Five opponent and its first since taking down Missouri nearly six years ago to the day on Dec. 16, 2016.”
-
Oof this is gold
-
Big 12 went 4-0 last night. TCU beat Utah in a close one on the road and K St held the mighty Radford Highlanders at home to an 8 pt win. Iowa St’s game was canceled against Peyton Manning’s favorite word at the line or scrimmage.
Lots of blowout wins from the top 25 last night
