Better decision for bean would be to throw it deep and if it’s an interception at least it’s on the other side of the field. Makes no sense to throw a short pass after rolling out and scrambling.

OK , so I maybe WAY off base But - - -Am I totally wrong when I say it’s kinda sad when a team like Clemson that’s rated # 5 in the Nation and undefeated - You think that a team like Clemson that has been recognized for some time as a Football power- - almost yearly - - I think it’s pretty sad that their fans storm the field after beating Syracuse which is ranked 14th.
Seriously -act like you belong that would be like KU beating some lower ranked team in Basketball and the fans rushing the court after beating say TCU for example - Seriously - - I don’t think I’m wrong at all. - -Makes them look like they wasn’t expecting to win.

BTW, belated question, but can anybody explain that failed 2 pt conversion we tried? I have no clue what was happening there. Bean floated right, threw back left to an offensive lineman?? or tried to.

Where in the hell is our 6th win going to come from: OSt, Texas Tech, Texas or KSt? I thought maybe Texas Tech, but they just destroyed WV today. I guess we are left with an unexpected upset, like Texas last year. OUCH!

@stoptheflop they have played with everyone so far to an extent. One of the games we won’t shoot ourselves in the foot with a bad penalty or turnover and pull it out.
They’re getting one.

Today is a day where we saw what the real progress of this team is. At this point last year, when KU fumbled it back to Baylor down 28-3 right before halftime, that would’ve spiraled into a 59-10 loss or something in that neighborhood and we didn’t see that today.
We saw the coaching staff make adjustments at halftime and the defense played much better in the 2nd half and gave KU a chance to come back and the team has bought into Leipold and staff which is always nice to see. We also saw the offense play much better in the 2nd half as well.
Hopefully we get JD6 back after the bye week because ESPN has KU with a 36% chance to win each of their next two games which is the best chance for KU to get win number 6.

@rockchalkjayhawk wasn’t it tipped? We had one before to bostick. He use to be a qb in high school, I think. I wasn’t paying attention. But he did catch it last time. For 2.

Yup, tipped, but i just couldn’t make heads or tails of that play and who was involved. oh well.

KU needs to start the game fast. We have seen in time and time again this season that KU gets behind big time in Q1 and Q2.
It is challenging to come back from such large deficits.
