Non-KU Games

@Oldmanhawk no question. They’ll give Michigan a run for their money, if not win the B1G outright.
-
I’d trade rosters with Purdue. Mainly because of Bill lol. With Jay Wright I think I’d take KU’s roster instead.
-
@BShark a 7’4” center
-
@rockchalkwyo that’s what they meant by nice pieces!
-
Michigan Arizona on now in the boner pill classic
-
lol Michigan
UofA looks good though. If we had Koloko we would be title favorites.

Last I saw Arizona was taking it to Michigan pretty good

Villanova and Purdue are playing and it’s not on TV?
Ya it was on here on TV - Purdue has that 7’4 dude, pretty decent looked like his foot speed wasn’t the best a little slow but passible 21 points in 20 minutes
-
Gonzaga & Purdue are horrible matchups for KU. They both have multiple bigs that can abuse Dave.

that could be very true, but you also have to look at the other shoe, KU can also run a line up that can pretty much off set their big’s. We have guys that can play the 5 and stretch the floor make their big’s try to defend in space’ - -we have Zach that can play sme spot , Coach even mentioned playing Jalen as a stretch 5 - so we could pretty well counter their big’s with our stretch 5’s kind of like what Villanova done to us a few years back , more worried about Gonzaga then Purdue
-
Purdue has a lotto pick guard as well (Ivey) that can do it all and has shown impressive play making (13 assists in 2 games) over the weekend. They have a few other role players that make perimeter shots as well. About as well rounded a team as there is outside KU and Gonzaga
-
No Purdue/Villanova on major markets all over the country. ABC here in Chicago played some cuddly animal show. This is unbelievably bad decision making by someone. Purdue is less than 2 hours from Chicago. Lots of Boilermaker alums all over the area here.

Holmgren is rail thin. Not so sure that he can bully anyone if push came to shove.
-
Sure Holmgren is thin and that’s just how its going to be for him until he’s got years of strength training in the NBA. He’s really skilled and a tremendous rim protector which we all know is something KU struggles with every single time they face a big with that kind of ability
-
@BeddieKU23 he is definitely skilled.
-
As I watch Butler get taken apart by Houston in Maui, I’m surprised at how far their program has fallen in just a dozen years, when they went to back-to-back National Championship games. Now they’re bottom-feeders in the Big East.

Tough to keep up with strong programs when you don’t recruit at that level.
-
BIG not looking too great so far. Illinois embarrassing the entire league against Cincy. They’ve scored 7 points in the first 13 minutes of the 2nd half. Had a 15 point lead with 10 minutes left in the first half and since then have been outscored by 34.
-
The grapes are so, so bad. Arky already up 15 and we’re not to the under 8
-
Last or 2nd to last in the conference. Hopefully last
-
KSU and Missouri very much not good at basketball.

Some STIFF competition for that spot this year. Bottom 3-4 looks pretty bad to me.
-
Arkansas is trying to let KSU sneak back in this one.
-
If the go cats were even halfway competent they’d be leading by quite a few

Guess the question is, who’s going to replace Bruce after this season?

Don’t you know after he wins 2 conference games he’s getting a 4 year extension.
-
Where’s Steve Henson? Maybe they should go after someone like that who was on some really good KSU teams and understands what it means to be a Wildcat. I really want the rivalry to return.

If Arkansas was playing ANYONE other then K-State last night really good chance they get beat , was NOT impressed with them , just good enough to beat Brucie
-
Wisconsin up 38-18 on #11 Houston. Oof
-
-
@KirkIsMyHinrich Johnny Davis show today. 30 points, 4 boards, 4 assists, 4!! steals, 2 blocked shots, only 1 foul.
I’m a bit excited right now and didn’t expect to be so.
-
Brruuuuuce giving Illinois all they want. Ya could’ve been a Jayhawk, Kofi.

He will cook anywhere, but he would have absolutely put up insane numbers under Bill.
-
I’m sorry but K- State is just sad. Sure they hung around a bit but that was more Illinois screwups nothing K-State did really , Illinois allowing them to hang around, Did ANYONE her e really think K- State was gonna win this game ? - -I sure the hell didn’t
I mean can someone please tell me what kind of offensive sets K-State runs ? I mean really cause I’m not seeing much of run , or do they run an offense ? - All I saw was a lot of one on one and jack a 3. Most the time it was Pack or Smith jacking it up - -a couple of dribbles no signs of an offensive set being run at all just throwing it up. They actually played better last night then tonight. -Just think myself it’s gonna be another long year for Bruce , & probably his last yr too.
-
Oregon geteting worked over right now pretty good by St Marys down 14 with 12 minutes to go
-
UCLA will miss Cody Riley in this game, but I’m still going UCLA by 5.
Fully prepared for Gonzaga to win by 20 now.

Isn’t Cody Riley past his prime now?
I kid but wow he seemed old when he got there

Okay forget this. I was wrong
-
If we ever get Gonzaga in the tourny, I think we should play mostly really small. Dave can’t score on or stop Chet. Jalen can play the PJ Tucker kind of physical and undersized 5 man where Chet would have to chase him around all day. Ditto Timme and Och or Braun. We can’t stop them anyway. Might as well try our best to score more
-
I don’t know who matches up well with Gonzaga. Maybe Purdue or Baylor? We definitely do not.
-
I honestly thought UCLA would come out strong, even without Riley, given the memory of last year’s game. Not showing much of anything. At least they stopped the bleeding…for now.
-
Gonzaga. Jesus!
-
Nobody can matchup with Chet in the College game. Just the reality
-
I’m tellin you not gonna lie , just straight up I didn’t watch the entire thing but when I was - -Gonzaga looked Scary god at long periods of times - -smooth as silk I dunno who match up with that
-
Time to call Joey Buttafuoco
-

Lol… I eat my words. You’re right. The guy is bigtime skilled. Jesus, when he gains weight and muscle, look out!

Well I know people aren’t going to want to hear this— may not agree with this but I have to say it anyways - I think this year that Kentucky might just be some better then last year. , actually quite a bit better , hey I’m not to proud to admit it – they better - - they better that’s all. - -It’s gonna be a pretty good match up when we meet them in the Bi2 12/Sec challenge. Of course they are already starting with the whiner excuse if we win, How the Refs favor us so badly at the Phog - -they are already getting that out there 5 on 8 they said. - Talking about how at least 2-3 of there guys will be in foul trouble by the 1st TV time out lol
-
Tarleton hung tough with Michigan.
ISU lookin good with a real coach.

Kentucky - so far, from what I’ve seen - is tougher than last year. And they had damn well better be, with that lineup? Sorry, I’ve never been impressed with Cal as a coach, just haven’t - Top 5 classes every year but laying yet another egg?
-
How about them Badgers?
