No. 16/16 Florida State travels to face Boston College on Tuesday evening at 9 p.m. at the Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The Eagles are set to return to the court for the first time since January 16th
“Right now we have four scholarship players available to play this game [against FSU].”
On Monday morning, during the ACC Coaches Teleconference, Eagles’ head coach Jim Christian shared an update regarding his team. Christian pointed out that rules regarding depth necessary to play are ‘vague’, then sharing that the interpretation of the Atlantic Coast Conference is ‘eight healthy bodies’.
“So if you look at our roster size, with five scout team players, we have enough guys to play,” Christian stated. "Our administration made the decision that the game needs to be played.

FYI FSU traveled to Boston College and then had the game cancelled due to Covid within the program. So their next 3 games are canned

Not a fan of players lording it over fallen members of the opposing team. We all know what can happen when that occurs, don’t we? I would take it a step further, T the player up and sit him for the rest of the game.

I’ve watched the play several times and don’t see anything to T a kid up for. Are kids not supposed to have emotion after a big play now? Doke used to do similar.

@BeddieKU23 I didn’t watch the game, so I’m not sure what occurred tbh. I’m all for emotion, but not the “look at me, I’m king kong” menacing mug and flexing while standing over a fallen player. That’s what I’m referring to.

If your talking about the incident that I’m talking about in here not sure how the hell you didn’t see anything , so you must be talking about another play. Because they T’d Doke for alot less and I’ve seen other players T’d for a lot less. You watch the paly I was talking about the kid makes an attempt to block Johnson and his momentum causes him to fall flat on the floor - - Johnson flushes and right over the kid pretty much stares at him while he is on the floor sprawled out mean mugging and flexs bowing all up. - -You gonna T other players for that then you can Dam sure T Johnson up

But Johnson wasn’t standing over the player, there was several feet of separation between the player and when Johnson got up and showed emotion of the big dunk. Seen the play several times on ESPN and reviewed it on Youtube.
Standing over a fallen player was Silvio De Sousa. That was the epitome of bad sportsmanship. Of course K-St’s player was also guilty of the same for stealing the ball.
The beauty of seeing the same thing differently I guess.

Honestly I’m not about to argue with you. Have you seen the play again since you saw it live? He got up flexed for half a second and then a teammate came over to celebrate and hit him in the chest. At that point he wasn’t even looking at the player he just posterized. He wasn’t going towards the player either or standing over him (like Silvio did last year), if anything he was backing up. Big time Dunk. See no reason to T him up for that.
And yes Doke did get T’d up for less, if I remember correctly. He loved to flex his arms up after a big dunk. Think Self even talked to him about cooling off on that.

@BeddieKU23 no, didn’t see it. Have watched him play though. Would’ve been nice to be able to sign him, huh? At any rate, I’m good with our entire roster being made up of top 100ish or so guys like Agbaji, Wilson and Braun every year, but as Roy succinctly put it one year when playing Darren Hancock, “sometimes you just need an athlete,” or two or three.

Imagine being one of the handful of idiots on the phog that thinks he would make this KU team better. He has the same issues as the rest of the roster slow and unathletic.
