To be perfectly fair here, Richmond is not a bad team. They received 40 votes in the pre-season AP poll. They’ll be ranked when the next poll is released.
Kentucky did not look good, though.

Saw a good point raised about Kentucky. 2020 class wasn’t super great to begin with, then you factor in the guys that reclassed or went straight to the league, makes it harder for the teams that rely on oads.

You want a sure recipe for a loss ? - - You shoot 20 more free throws then your opponent - you have 23 more rebounds then your opponent , BUT you shoot 37 % from the floor - -you put up a goose egg from 3 point line - -you have 5 assists BUT 21 turnovers - and shoot 60 % from the line - -that’s Kentucky’ line for today

Just wrapping this up guys - -KU women win 85-43 Final. - -I’m not excited we know how this goes. - Great non Con then struggle in Big 12. But I will say I think we will do pretty decent and hold our own in some games this year

Interesting thing to monitor with Baylor. So far it appears neither 4 star freshman big they signed in this class are apart of the rotation. It’s Thamba starting and the transfer Tchatchoua as his backup. Seems to be their main weakness as well

Surprised Kentucky lost today but I wouldn’t put too much into that impacting Tuesday. Their frontcourt guys scored 23 pts, 25 reb, 3 blocks which terrifies me in the matchup on Tuesday. The law of averages says they are not going 0-10 from 3 again. We could try and pack the lane and force them to make outside shots, not sure on that strategy. KU’s key to victory is to score points.

Not really all that impressed with their game. - Sure they have talent, but Richmond gave them fits , 10 steals - Kentucky has a lot of things to work on. - -Like was mentioned on their own Board Cal plays Askew and he acts like he wants to get rid of the ball as soon as he gets it - - people saying they don’t know WHY he doesn’t play mince more. - -I don’t know but for today anyway I just didn’t see anything that scares me. – Sarr the transfer I mean eh - ok but I think this is one of those games where Coach said we play Dave more I think he can hold play with Sarr,
21 turnovers by Kentucky 60 % free throw shooting - -only 5 assists and 21 turnovers that’s going to win you very many games they just didn’t impress me today.
Not saying that they can’t come out guns blazing Tuesday but I don’t feel as bad about this game now - I can see why they aren’t rated as high this year at this point anyways

Those were generally his better teams too. He doesn’t routinely go after them when he has his pick of the litter though. It’s weird.

So that means we played Gonzaga - they had player test positive for COVID - - St Joe had quarintine or positive after we played - - Now Richmond has players positive after playing Kentucky

Texas Tech Joel Ntambwe has left the team after only 3 games. That’s a big loss for them
