Hats off to UConn
3rd final four in four years
-
How about UConn Womenβs Basketball Team
Undefeated season and now back in Final Four
They destroyed their opponents, average victory by 40 some points
-
Sorry, I threw up in my mouth on that shot. If UConn wins a third championship in 4 years, I'm going to stop following college basketball. I don't want to think about how insufferable their fans are going to be. YUCK. Almost no team is less deserving of a miracle shot than UConn.
Go Illinois.
-
I for one was very happy with the result. Even if it was a lesser of 2 evils
-
Dan Hurley is going to be an even bigger insufferable jackass if UConn wins again. Anybody but UConn at this point.
-
No matter how much you hate UConn they keep winning and hanging banners while we go home on first weekend.
-
Lol, I hate Duke so much. That was lovely. Let's go Illinois!
-
I would love ESPN to keep showing this shot
-
I couldn't go for either, duke would be my choice to LOSE! Did UConn ever lead til the end? I was watching Gary!
-
@crimsonblu22 UConn lead 2-0. thats it.
-
@approxinfinity wow!
-
@crimsonblu22 the shot was soul crushing. worth a watch.
-
@approxinfinity I saw the end.

I've completed 3 brackets, 1 here and 2 in a family thing. 2 of mine are absolute disasters and the 3rd has a perfect FF with Arizona over Illinois in the final. I believe Michigan can win it too, but wouldn't mind Zona winning it for the league. Preventing another win by UCONN is paramount.
If UConn wins this shot will probably eclipse Dukes shot against Kentucky which the college hoops media forgets to tell us it was a quarterfinal game. This game too was a quarterfinal game. KU absolutely loses if Mario misses in 2008 but Laettners was better? Indiana fans can say the same, so can Villanova in 2016 when the dramatically beat UNC in that great ending.
I was at a college baseball game near my house and some people nearby let out a big cheer. I asked them what happened. They told me about the shot and that the kid that made it is from their hometown in Greenville, Indiana. They were very excited!
