Of course they made the wrong call there but it’s a play that almost always goes to the offensive player and that’s just how it is.

Very seldom do great college players carry over great first half stats to the second half. OU is living off Heild. OU is living off borrowed time.

@BeddieKU23 My problem and most others feel the same way, the ref who called it was behind the OU player and couldn’t possibly see what happened.

I like where we are at.
Down a few points at half… Self all worked up in a tizzy.
I like our chances down the stretch. We should have more energy. We have a deeper bench and all we really need to do is stay close and clamp down in the last 5 minutes of the game.
Our transition defense was good until the later part of the half. Need to shore that up because OU burned us big time when we stopped getting back, especially on Buddy.
I’m looking for a very energetic Kansas team the second half. We didn’t seem to have much energy in that first half, but the comparison was against OU and their high energy. They wanted to come in and not fall behind so far like they did last year. The problem with that is they spent a lot of energy in that first half.
Energy should be the difference in this game and we should have more of it than OU the second half… but that is just prediction.

Refs didn’t call a bad game at all IMHO.
They blew the call on Frank, but that was meaningless till Self blew up.
Lon is really matching Bill move for move and coming up with stuff ahead of Self; that’s why Self lost it!
