Other Games 2025-2026

@ROCKCHALK2025 pretty much every game is a must win going forward. We could maybe handle a loss at Arizona pending how everyone else does but no way can we lose at home to Houston and win the conference.
-
Not sure if y’all caught Brad Underwood’s presser after the loss to Wisconsin. But I have to agree with him on the officiating front. Each game seems to be called so differently anymore it’s difficult to say everyone is always playing the same game. Not sure how many games I’ve watched the last 5 years where this no autopsy no foul for a half and then bam we are calling touch fouls all the sudden.

Why is Baylor playing Louisville today?
Yeah.. I saw that too and did a double take. I'd love to know what that's all about. Very strange.
-
@bskeet we played Kentucky a few times sound this time of year, I personally like a a game or two out of conference this time of the year.

@kjayhawks2.0 Houston entering their own gauntlet section of their schedule. I still think 4 losses wins or ties for the top spot.
Unless UH goes 0-3 over their next 3 games, they won't lose 4 Big 12 games.

Tang is gone.
-
Not very surprising given that unacceptable post game interview.
-
Effective immediately or at seasons end?
-
@kjayhawks2.0 Immediately.
-
Fired with cause based upon contract has in it that he can not talk negatively about players or embarrass the university.
-
@patoh3 that was smart to put in there
-
The question becomes who do they go after? Old friends in Jankovich, Underwood, Altman, Henson and Huggins?

Tang is going to end up suing KSU over this and he'll have a reasonable chance to get a favorable ruling in this case.

They may not have much in the way of funds to hire a big name coach if Tang sues them and they have to pay out his full buyout.

I for one am sorry to see Tang gone. He wrecked that program in record fashion. Couldn't put his own dudes together to make an actual team... but he's a great salesman. I'm sure he'll turn up somewhere.
-
I liked Tang. Mom used to buy it when I was a kid, kind of a kid friendly orange juice alternative.

@Texas-Hawk-10 Ya I was thinking the same thing, that’s a pretty big reach for cause but in the end it likely gets settled for a little less behind closed doors. It’s interesting that Taylor (AD) at this point looks to be making two hires in the money sports of basketball and football. Add in a lot of folks want changes for volleyball and baseball leadership which I believe both to be his hires, KSUs athletic department is in shambles right now.

In 2012 Frank Martin was fired from KSU, in 2022 Bruce Weber was fired from KSU. Both years Kansas played for a national title winning in 2022. Maybe this is just what we needed.

tang definitely has skeletons in the closet but saying that youre firing him for cause and citing that press conference is hilarious
