I never understood the desire to watch your team play in a cool destination - I usually don’t watch any tv when traveling, much less go to a game.
All I know about the KSU game is a bunch of people I know went - a cousin, my niece, my old bosses kid, and several other KSU fans. It sounds like they all had a blast in Dublin (up until the game of course). What a cool experience, especially for my niece who got to go with the band. She’ll remember that trip for a lifetime. Not the game, the trip.

Man talk about a rough outing, Dylan Edwards KSUs starting tail back released a statement on X after receiving hate mail on him quitting on the team. Remember these are the classiest people on the planet.

Yeah sports fans are some of the worst people on the internet - just horrible that they can only think about themselves and not the athlete that is suffering way more. KU “fans” are not any better, it’s gross how people act on the internet with anonymity.

Really glad college football is back-even though we all know the problems. Most of the games this weekend are like our Wagner game, but Texas v. Ohio St Saturday 11am on FOX, WOW. And Sunday 6:30 on ABC Notre Dame v. Miami. I can’t wait.

My youngest son is going to the Miami game. His wife is a florida gal and they’re headed there for a long Labor Day weekend.

There’s several great games on paper this weekend aside from what you mentioned. LSU vs. Clemson is a top 10 match up, Alabama vs. Florida St., Tennessee vs. Syracuse.

Like a jilted highschool kid, I tend to root against Texas and Oklahoma. So, I’m all in on an Ohio St win, except I don’t like the Luckeyes either.

I watched ESPN College Football Final this morning. For an hour. The only time they mentioned Kansas, it had a “State” after it. I did get to find out about all kinds of other schools though. Oklahoma School of Horseshoeing. Andover School for the Blind. Northwest Eastern College- South Campus.
Screw you, ESPN.

@nuleafjhawk There are a lot of unranked teams that didn’t get mentioned and it’s not like KU is a football hotbed. Generally I’d prefer to keep Kansas football out of the headlines, it’s typically meant something like a linemen got stuck in the drive thru window at Taco Bell. Let them ride under the radar until they whoop mizery, then they’ll see what’s brewing in Lawrence.
