Read where KU has reached out to Norte Dame forward 6’10 Carey Booth , would be strictly for depth to spell KJ and Hunter it said. Shooting was not impressive but got better towards the end , decent rebounder, and averaged like 2 blocks ppg. - Again just strictly spot relief not a lot of minutes-- -but depth

@BShark There’s this about Storr. In the 2nd half UW was making a run on James Madison, cutting it to three. Made a stop and then missed what would have been a big 3 tying it up. JMU races downcourt past a jogging and indifferent Storr and made a wide open 3. Game, season over. He’s not Jayhawk material.

Heard off locked on Jay Hawks podcast about the possibility Colby Rogers from WSU , I guess there has been some talk of possibility- -should we have any interest ?
Got decent stats , might be good for depth.- - 16.4 ppg --shot the ball pretty decently . --41 % fg shooter ----- BUT 41.9 from the three- -something we didn’t have one of our problems last year - -again he shot 41 % from the three. That percentage was on pretty good volume too a he averaged right at 7 attempts pre game -w hardly shot that many as a team last year - -he averaged seven per game. – - he was an 83 % free throw shooter --BUT here is something too he was a or made 47 % of his threes on spot up three’s
Plus for his career he is a 39.2 % three point shooter hitting 39.2 % on 672 attempts. Might be good for a depth piece.

@jayballer67 that’s the one. As of right this second we’re at 13 scholarships so 1-2 more would have to leave to make the numbers work. McDowell and Furphy are the obvious candidates. If both leave and we get Griffen that might be the 12 we roll with come fall

So do well feel that there has been a change of heart/circumstances where Zach sticks and fills out three man rotation at the five if Hunter comes back?
Which now think Hunter will be back, not on NBA board, so probably will, could take or leave doesn’t matter. Also don’t think we are going to wait on McNeely- -might of been good- -but he is not taking any visits until after the Jordan Tourney- -If KU has a shot to land quality portal then they will take that and McNeely will no longer be an option

Yeah Self said he’s the most improved player on the team. Sees him as a potential 4 man now. Toughness and getting stronger have led to better mindset. Interesting if he returms

Completely unrelated. McNeely has everything to do with Storr and Griffen.

Two more in. Griffen has a wetter, Storr more of a scorer type.
