No problem I’ll go first - -throw it out, --KU 41 Mo St - -14.
Anyone know how ticket sales are going ? Anyone heard ?
-
100-0
-
I know for sure that TWO tickets have been sold. My guess is 56 - 10.
-
I’ll be there with 3 friends. 45-17
-
42-12 Good guys
-
38-13
-
@FarmerJayhawk safer at KU than UNC campus, huh? Terrible news.
-
Looks like w all are pretty much at least spread wise about the score fairly close. Hoping for relly good turnout. - -I’m Ready for some football
-
@Crimsonorblue22 yeah, disgruntled grad student murdered his advisor. Tragic.
-
Just saw ESPN’s pre Season Bowl games- - They have KU playing Air Force in the ( Scooters Coffee Frisco Bowl )
-
34-13
-
41-17
-
52-0 D holds. ️ speedy 🫘/Bean plays a lot.
-
Was listening to a pod cast with Swain & a Mo St guy and sound like their offense struggles, and he even came out and said nothing really impressed him from what he saw this camp. - -Probably run a 2 QB system, and if one get’s hot then stick with him but he says IF they get hot lol - -we shall see.
-
Was listening to Locked on Jayhawk podcast , made sense they were talking improvement on defense. - -Lat year Ku was like 124th out of 131 in Points Allowed per game. They were talking and said if KU
Could cut that down even a touchdown per this year it would take them from 124th to right about 70th or 80th. Still not really good but still nice improvement and could very well be a difference of a couple more wins- -which is very true would make for a nice record
-
@jayballer67 Aint no seats podcast also had some good football discussion. Talking best case and worst case scenario overall record for the team.
-
I say 41 to 13 as a score at this point. I’m going to have to see our rush defense improve before I think we are capable of holding an opponent to single digits. The last time we held an opponent to below 10 was Rhode Island in 2016, an FCS team that won 4 games in 5 years.
Missouri state has a very capable running back in Kstate transfer Wright. They played both Arkansas and Okie State tight the previous two seasons. But have a new coaching staff and tons of new faces on the roster.
The two biggest things I need to see Friday is the defense line dominating against a lower tier offensive line. If that doesn’t happen this season ends up in the same place as last seasons with the offense having to keep us in games. The next big issue is the special teams. The unit last season was a J-O-K-E in all caps as it’s written to put it nicely. 15, yes 15 total punt return yards in 13 games. A punter that couldn’t kick the ball more than 40 yards down the field leading a net of less than 36 yards making me wonder why we punted half the time. The place kicking wasn’t any better at 7/13 for the season while only making one kick longer than 37 yards (40 season long). I’m very pleased with edition of Sean Snyder to our coaching staff not only did he have several units ranked in the top 5 in the country at both KSU and USC. But it upset a lot of mildcat fans, I’m always game for that. Sean himself was an all American punter in the 90s for KSU. Ready for Friday!
-
51-10 (Ku scoring with ease) with an early field goal and late TD by the bears.
-
@kjayhawks apparently Greaves has a howitzer. Keller has had great stats elsewhere so should be improved. And more depth across the whole roster will help on the other ST units
-
@FarmerJayhawk Ya I think the depth should be much improved really on both sides of the ball. But going 2 deep on the D-line without taking a step backwards is a must at this level. Its really nice to be excited to watch more than one game a year again.
-
59-13. KU has a potential top 10 offense this season and I think we see that in full display against what’s supposed to be a below average FCS team.

I wanted to go a lil higher on my spread but held back , mainly cause if we start cruisin they will yank JD 6 pretty quick
-
🫘 is good too!
-
Read about attendance as of Aug 30th. - Eleven of the 26 sections are sold out and the other Fifteen are only single tickets available or limited.
-
I will go 48-17. I think the offense will roll, but I am not sure how long the starters will play. However, we know Bean is capable of putting points on the board. I think the main focus will be on the defense. We won’t learn a ton playing against MO St., but if we can get pressure against these guys it might be a long year. Kind of hope it is just a vanilla game with a butt kicking.
-
Good guys by many

@benshawks08 just being extremely cautious. If it was Illinois he’d go.

Man I hope your right Farmer. - -read an article that Vernon put out and said alot of team and such wasn’t aware or even know about the seriousness of situation
I’m not as worried about tonight as Jason should be able to run the team for this game. However I just dunno I’m more concerned about Jalen against Illinois - - this thing hs been going on for almost all of fall camp – hell it was even present in Spring Camp.
I knew or had a pretty good idea that Jalen wouldn’t play tonight. The staff mainly Coach L was always pretty evasive when questions was brought up about Jalen health. His only response would be is he is progressing , we feel we are in a good spot with Jalen. Truthfully I’m worried it may sideline him for some time for the Season - - -God I hope not or were in trouble. I Like Jason , but let’s not make any mistake about it. - -Jason is not Jalen. -only thing we can do is worry about the game in front of us , take one week at a time.- Maybre see Easter later in the game also. ROCK CHALK
-
Was kind of crazy before I made this post I predicted w would win 41 - -14 - -27 point spread , I saw the spread today off a site and it was 27 lol , so must of been thinkin same line
With Jalen out I have to drop if off to 20 point spread - -a touchdown
-
-
🫘 is good and is confident
-
I love the fact that Neal wanted to turn the KU program around and stayed home! ️ loyalty!
-
Stupid ESPN+ doesn’t show the whole stadium. I have no idea how full the stadium is.
-
KU run defense is stout
-
My original guess was 41-17 before i changed it. Rats
-
@approxinfinity my 41-13 is pretty close looking. A roughing the passer call ruined it but I bet we score again.
-
@kjayhawks You called it!!
