  • @Kcmatt7 Same with TCU

  • @Crimsonorblue22 I have been impressed by Jay Wright as a commentator

  • @AsadZ we’ve had such good ones lately, will be bad to go back to Fran!

  • Great women’s game today as the last two undefeated teams in D1 (men or women) meet up in Columbia, SC as #3 LSU takes on #1 South Carolina. Aliyah Boston and Angel Reese are probably the two best players in women’s basketball this year. Do yourselves a favor and watch this game.

  • South Carolina showing they are by far the best team in the country as they are absolutely destroying LSU today.

  • Purdue on the ropes at Northwestern. Down 2 with 1 min left…

  • Purdew gets beat by Northwestern. Northwestern get a premium win, and looks like an at large invitee to the tourney.

  • Can Tech make it back to back win against top 15 opponents tonight. I say yes the hell with the short horns!!

We’re all Red Raiders tonight. Watching Miami pop UNC on their home court. Miami looks legit. UNC looks like a team headed to the NIT.

  • @Jethro my first time watch Miami this season, Pack looks unbelievable

Can you imagine - -K/State might be really legit if Pack would of stayed. --Nowell as the point - - Pack at the 2 - -& the Johnson - -would have 3 really good players

UNC now 0-9 in Quad 1 games. Yet, they are still in most brackets…

  • Wow!

  • @DCHawker like I said name viewership are a thing

  • Tech and WV giving us hope here

  • Devion Harmon with 21 points at halftime including a prayer of a 3 pointer right before halftime to give Tech a 9 point lead.

  • Gonna be tough for Tech - kinda playing above their headed - not that I’m objecting but when you have a desperation 3 at the end of the half - -you bank in a 3- - you got things going your way. - -We can hope

  • We might be tied for first at least in the loss column in ten minutes or so. TTech impressive run after tejas ties it up.

  • Texas Tech has looked like a different team the last few weeks. They won’t be easy even at the Phog. Nice night Draft kings put $5 on Miami, WV and Tech all started as underdogs, netted $40 easy.

  • Tech was 11-2 before entering league play. They’re 64 in KenPom, likely to move up after tonight. They’re the best 14-12 team in the country. This grinder of a league just ground harder on them.

  • They’ve had a lot of injuries! Thanks TT!

  • Win tonite, and we’re back in first.

  • Waz up with Mizzou tonight? 18 points in the first half? 45-18 Auburn…

  • ND giving Duke a hard time here late… 👀

  • Just found to come up short. Boo

  • So, Duke hangs on to eke out a win at home against a 10-16 ND team…

  • KSU probably just eliminated itself from the conference championship. B12 back to zero teams with a sub .500 record.

  • Lunardi pooping on Duke with SVP. Nice.

  • @approxinfinity

The night crew can say some things the day crews would never imagine of trying

  • No Wisconsin baskets for last 10:47 of the game yet they won by five by making 14 FT’s in that time.

  • @approxinfinity mind if I join, wipe my North Carolina and flush my Kentucky when finished.

  • Bruce Weber thinks Indiana been playing as well as anyone in the country.

  • @wissox WTF would he know about good basketball unless he was reviewing our film 🤣

  • @kjayhawks He’s a host on BTN tonight highlight show. He’s pretty harmless there …but that voice!

This is how Hunter Dickinson walked into the arena tonight.

  • Meanwhile, back at the ranch in Manhattan… the purple kitties dissolve back into shrubs like a Bruce Webber team…

    homer.png

  • @drgnslayr they now lost 4 of 5. Typical KSUCK get lucky winning the national championship against us, blowing their load in doing so I smell a first weekend exit.

  • KSU fans are so funny. They’ve turned on Tang so fast lol. That dude is absolutely leaving as soon as he can.

Apparently sucking at basketball and chanting “F KU” anytime they can is vital to their identity as a University…

Yeah they are very foolish, they are lucky to have him.

  • @BShark The level of recruits he is able to talk to vs. Weber or Martin is a clear indication that he could really do something in the long-term. But that is also why I think he ends up somewhere else that gives him the ability to recruit into the top 25.

I really think Louisville makes a ton of sense for him, either this year or next. I also low key think Notre Dame should try to make a move to get him. He would be a phenomenal culture fit at Notre Dame…

  • @Kcmatt7 KSU will be ranked as long as he is there. Then you take any post season success as a bonus. That’s the ceiling for KSU.

Their smart fans (there are a few) realize that this team is ahead of schedule off a very tough situation to rebuild from. They had to go in and get as many guys as they possibly could. They have some solid players redshirting right now too. Guys that would have for sure got minutes on most Bruce teams. Biggest thing was they gambled on Keyontae. Very few programs were willing to do it. Imagine that team without him…

Last year and these next couple recruiting classes will be down across the board due to lack of development time. I LOVE our class considering, but I like KSU’s class as well. I’ve watched some Dai Dai on the ole youtube and he’s as good as anyone I can remember KSU recruiting since Beasley. He’s electric and I hate that he is going to KSU. Will be some fun duels with Elmarko…

  • My , My , My , just went to their message boards - - Mercy how quickly they turn. Quote-- This " maybe the worst basketball I’ve seen in years " , - -The Weber rettes could beat these guys- - -Tang is a terrible at coaching- - I’m beginning to think hope not - that is Baylor just had an over abundance of talent and just rolled the ball out on the flo0r let them go one on one.

That’s K/State for you , I didn’t red anymore you get the jest pretty quick --NOW they all over Tang-for God’s sake - so now their basketball Savior suddenly can’t Coach a lick lol - -people saying preseason predictions was probably right --how they are the worst team in the league -how they are tired of one on one ball-- just on & on & on–

If I was Tang I’d say screw you and head for Texas - -bet they take him in a minute— just laughable

  • @Kcmatt7

I’ve said this all along… Tang won’t stay at KSU if the culture doesn’t change. He’s a strongly-rooted Christian and Manhattan is closer to hell than heaven.

I really feel like this is a defining moment for KSU basketball. Either the culture changes and they embrace a positive lifestyle (doesn’t have to be Christian), or they stay “hicks in the sticks” and prevent a real coach from coming there and doing the job right.

Jack Hartman is rolling over in his grave.

I support Tang and what he is wanting to do. I want KSU to build a respectable program once again. It’s good for the Big 12 and good for us.

I don’t think Tang is a fit for Louisville. The culture there is horrific and their dark cloud history will prevent them from attracting a class act like Tang. Notre Dame is a better fit unless there are Christian differences that can’t be overcome.

  • @drgnslayr i think Louisville would embrace him. KSU fans are looking for a reason to not like him. Louisville fans would support him in anything he wanted.

    Jmo

  • @Kcmatt7

I don’t think Tang will embrace Louisville. He isn’t the typical used-car salesman coach just out chasing a buck. God is first in his life.

Still wondering why he went to Manhattan. I think KSU sold him a bill of goods. Promises were made… now the kitties either step up or he’ll leave.

  • There’s an unusual excitement in Evanston. Since I live only an hour or so away I decided to check stubhub for tonights game with Indiana. Tickets were around 200 after school today. Just checked and with the game 6 minutes old I could buy one for 115. Usually NU games, except for BIG games with UW, UI, and MSU are available for a ten spot. Part of that is it’s a tiny gym, but there’s a rare excitement there.

  • Oh and 1 ranked Bama going down to Tennessee, no shame in that but still a tough thing after getting the high ranking.

  • I mean they ought to just go ahead and rank us #1, provided DaJuan and Kevin’s ankles are ok. More worried about Kevins as it looked more severe.

  • @wissox said in Other games:

Saw an interview with Kein and he was asked about his injury. - - they asked him if it was a high ankle injury - he said low and if he thought he would be able to play Saturday , he responded oh ya I’m playing.- was asked again later if he thought there was a chance he would miss the Baylor game and he said - - -I’m playing , he said we are all ok and everyone should or will be playing

  • Kevin is absolutely vital to this team’s success moving forward. I hope his sprain is minor. Hopefully it won’t aggravate into something worse.

If this team can be healthy moving forward… the sky is the limit!

Guys are starting to find their team identity (Self’s words)… and that identity is DEFENSE!

Look how much offense we had off our defense in Stillwater.

Offense tends to go hot and cold… but defense is a state of mind. If we play to this standard, no one can beat us!
