@jayballer67 he wasn’t weak that last play??? He’s got the ball in his hands when it should have been a hand off to JW
Bill was off his rocker tonight no clue where that last play was going
Juan had 11 to 4 but last one was crucial and he’s good it’s just 1 play
-
Im glad i didnt land on a hardwood floor on my face going full speed and then get expected to be an elite decision maker. Rough crowd.
-
Look at it this way - -K/State is in trouble. If they have to go to overtime with 3 of our players fouling out Dick - -Mc Cullar , - -& Adams - -on their home floor and can only beat us by ONE - - YA They in Big time trouble -Welcome to the Phog - -we still in 1st - -tied - -but can’t wait
-
@HawkChamp he didn’t with Elijah in Ames
This time he tried to stop Jalen and he did
85-81 what 40ish seconds left…I like our odds

your gonna judge that he is weak off one play - - - OK thanks for your time
-
@approxinfinity if he has a concussion he shouldn’t be in the game. If he’s cleared then he’s fine it’s a physical sport guys get hit in the face all the time.
He’s been bad decision making wise and not even looking to score. We got attacking Juan for tech and wvu then he’s disappeared. His assisted are all to Kj
-
See ya for next one
-
@jayballer67 he WAS WEAK with the ball for 1 play
Not he’s always weak there is a difference
Juan throwing it in to Clemence was a turnover time Clemence but Juan’s fault - don’t put him in that positions
-
@Kcmatt7 can’t believe they didn’t review it had 1 second left
-
@jayballer67 Harris has a tendency to choke at the most crucial times. He turned the ball over at the end of the National championship game last year, he turned the ball over at the end of the regulation , and he turned the ball over at the end of the OT. He almost gave away the National Chamo6 and he did gave away this game to K-State.
-
Yeah he needs to always be looking to attack and score. He is definitely capable but seems fine just assisting others primarily. Can’t do that all the time
-
@BCT shhhhhhh
He did save us against isu st home last year but when you look at it the games more physical late, refs swallow the whistle and he turns it over
-
@BCT gosh yeah he’s so bad we won a natty with him at PG. Choker for sure
-
@HawkChamp not when Kev is on Pluto offensively and Gradey ain’t shooting well
-
@FarmerJayhawk Remy or we lose to creighton or providence……
He did spark the comeback and he isn’t the main reason we lost tonight he’s just looking off lately - he and Kev
Bill should own this one
-
@kuballin10 I love how all the criticism of Juan is “well this ALMOST happened.” He’s brought us back FAR more often than choked but that’s not important I guess.
We weren’t great tonight, ish happens. Onto the next one.
-
I think JW should’ve defended Johnson more. He just ate him up when he defended him. I understand we can’t afford to lose JW, but we end up fouling out Kev, Gradey and KJ trying to handle him. 10 more minutes on Johnson from JW, and we win this game by 10.
-
I certainly don’t come out this game thinking we got beat by a better team. I think they got incredibly lucky in the 1st half, and got some real good fortune from the refs in the 2nd half and OT.

We could have won this game 20 different ways. Free throws. Threes. Finish a layup. Defend Johnson better. Not call timeouts in a panic. Not turn the ball over to close out the last two periods.
We really found a way to lose this one imo.
-
@FarmerJayhawk without Remy we lose those games….you know it, Bill knows it, everyone does so don’t bother acting like it isn’t true. Bill knows he bailed us out of round of 32 lose and sweet 16 when och and Braun couldn’t throw it in the ocean
Juan who doesn’t look to score won’t take a team to a title it’s like Alex Smith at qb. Be aggressive take shots
Juan had Zach pass, end of regulation and OT and messed each play up
Whether he’s hurt or not the security blanket made bad decisions
-
One thing is certain: We need more from Kevin going forward if we’re winning the conference.
-
Wellp we got crazy quick. Im going to keep enjoying the season and the amazing team we have cya guys.

This and Juan scoring is the key. Everything else can be fixed but these two not looking to score we become very beatable by anyone
-
Yeah. Kevin needs to stop thinking about anything other than the immediate play. I dont think he is being asked to be what he isnt. But he seems out of it on d, uncharacteristic
-
If McCullar makes a single free throw the entire conversation is different. ️

Juan looked to score tonight in a way. He took 6 threes…. He just can’t turn the ball over in crunch time 3 times like he did tonight.
He had a bad night for sure. But I think he makes good plays to end games more often than he doesn’t.

He was trying to guard Keyonte, and he was having a world of trouble with it.
-
Great game and the kids did great too. It’s a fun season. Enjoy it

I’m am going to give him the benefit of the doubt- he fell right on his head, and had to be taken to the locker room.

I personally think it is time to revisit the Udeh experiment…
Zuby and Zach ain’t it so far.
Also I think Bill needs to let MJ get some run. We do need more from the bench…
-
@kuballin10 there won’t be a *but Remy when Juan goes to the rafters. Well maybe in your mind but that’s your business.
We’ll move on, be better going forward. The only team that’ll beat us for the chip is us
-
@Jethro I mean even without that he is entitled to they occasional off night. Everyone has them…
He had made 8 consecutive three balls before this. I’m not “down” on him or anything. He’ll bounce back.
-
J Will was mad man tonight. That could be exactly what we needed
-
Thought all the iowa state fans had their shirts off then realized it was a white out.

Don’t even bother trying to exchange with him - he just here to argue with anybody and everybody

Nice to see he has that in him for sure. I think we’ll need it in March
-
I had this all queued up and ready to post, guess i jinxed it:
Signed, sealed, delivered.
Ballgame boys and girls!
-
It’s been disappointing that MJ can’t get more run. Practices must be a wreck.
-
next game is even tougher- TCU.

I agree with you on bench. Not sure what’s up with Bill & MJ - - I just think MJ is gone after this year , to bad cause the guy knows how to score the ball. Something the rest of our bench doesn’t know
-

we got them in the Phog buddy - — look out
-
Every KU player could have done something a tiny bit better and we would have won this, so I’m going to chuck it up to a solid finish by KSate when historically they’ve folded. Credit where it’s due.
Lots of games to go… KU still has the hardest road because we get everyone’s best shot. We’ll see how Kstate does with some ranked pressure on them.
-
@dylans been on and off the floor with injury
-
the clones are about to beat texas. very nice…

Got to be something going on. - -I mean not even sniffing the floor - all these medical claims I think is a big BS cover
-
@approxinfinity cool AF
-
@Kcmatt7 you’re right he did shoot 6 threes
I’m not sure end of game normally ball isn’t in his hands to make the play
-
@approxinfinity I was hoping after a KU win, the one KU fan would rush toward the court and let the ushers know we don’t do that. Lol
