Hindsight is easy, but I was okay with the two-point conversion try. Our defense was gassed. Don’t think we could’ve held them off any longer.

I remember a game I went to at Oregon in 1980. KU scored late to make it 7 to 6, then went for the tie. Duck fans were pissed big time. Of course that was before they played overtime.

The ESPN recap has some nice stats, like KU previously was 0-100 as an underdog against a 24+ spread. Most ever points for KU on the road, and most ever points for Texas in a loss. First Big 12 road victory for KU since 2008. Only the 4th KU win over Texas all time (1st was 1907, I think), but 2 in the last 5 years. (edited)

@mayjay Thanks, coach is a wise man. Got to teach the boys how to win graciously. If I’m gonna get back on the teams football bandwagon I should learn his name. I have a lot of practice forgetting forgettable coaches names!
