I think it’d be hilarious to see Duke and UNC or Duke and Kentucky in the 11 v. 11 play in game.

I do not think that Kentucky is going make the tournament, they are done. At any rate, it is going to be interesting after the season to see Cal push all these highly touted so-called OADs to the NBA draft door and in the process put his team next year in the exact same situation as the one that they are in right now. The lack of any continuity has finally bit them in the arse.

Wisconsin is doing well. Who is their coach again, and how old is he? That might be one to add to our list.

@Marco Greg Gard In his 50’s. He is a really good coach. I’d hate to see him leave UW to be honest, and I’m not sure he’d ever consider it.
@BeddieKU23 Yeah, that made me smile. I actually checked on it and saw Iowa with a comfortable lead so I changed the channel. Didn’t even check on the score til I saw it this morning.

Looks to me well to this point anyways that Oklahoma St is quicker then Baylor , just look really quick, getting plenty rebounds - -fun game to watch for awhile

you figure we lose to Texas Again . we lose to Baylor again - probably lose to WV there, 50/50 chance against Tennessee at their place we could be looking at 9-10 losses and ya a 9 or 10 seed

Just to note, we are in a 3 way tie for 5th in the conference right now. All six others have a better overall W-L record. We lose again and could fall to 7th, which is certainly something we don’t expect in Jayhawk land…
On the other hand, we’ve had some home games cancelled and tough road games, so the schedule is supposedly more favorable the next month.
On the other, other hand, we’ve typically been the best road team in the conference, by far…

Yeah, our schedule has been brutal. KenPom has our SoS at 3rd in the country. We’ve played exactly one game against the bottom 3 teams in the conference. Say we go 5-1 in those 6 and it gets us to 9 wins in the conference. Plus home games left against Okie Lite and Tech. Then maybe can clip Texas at Austin or Baylor at home. 12 league wins isn’t crazy, but I think 11-7 is more likely. 12-6 probably gets a tie for 3rd, 11-7 4th or 5th.

Texas only had 8 players and was without their best player (Ramey) and Jericho Sims.

Kentucky handed their 10th loss by Alabama. They were up 54-52 with a few minutes to go and was outscored 16-5 to end it lol

Oklahoma won by one and Texas was without Sims - -Ramey & Cunningham - that’s a lot - OU doesn’t when that game if Texas at full strength , they STIL about lost that game and that’s with 3 Texas players fouling out out of available 8 including their starting PO

A lot of people on the UK board talking about they think Conference Tourneys may get Cancelled. Could be right. - -like 8 major games cancelled last night , 10 cancelled for Saturday already is what they are saying.
Saying if Conference Tourneys get Cancelled that would give a 2 week window for them to address the situation as far as the Tourney goes , maybe allow time for some teams to get well

For major conferences there is zero point of a conference tourney this year. The little guys, that’s tough on them regardless but the reg season champ should get an auto in this year
