How is it that ol sweaty/stumpy keeps getting these kids to commit AFTER the NCAA is all up in their a - - - I would think they gonna be getting hit - - and hit hard BUT yet doesn’t seem t be effecting their recruiting - -hell were not even sure ol stumpy will be keeping his job. - - - Terry committed to them what the hell? - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Caleb Love has been really good at Team USA camp and is really coming along as a PG. He’ll cut his list this week and KU is certainly in as good a spot as anyone.

Well I’ll discuss this topic a little more , I know I’ve talked about this multiple times so I apologize.
Just read where Kyree is close to making his decision about re-classifying to 2019 OR staying in 2020. I know seems to be a lot of discussion about Kyree jumping and going over sea’s most think it’s a done deal or a lot of people think that way. - -Kyree on the other hand is denying that - I wouldn’t want to bet on it one way or another.
People know how much I like Kyree. - -Kid is a beast - - has no position can play 1-4 probably so they say anyways - massive hops. - -So anyways obviously if KU still has interest then obviously we have to have him stay in the class of 2020 right? - -as we have no more spots available for 2019. - -So let me ask IF he does stay in 2020 - we still recruit him hard right? – or do we just say Blah on the assumption he is a done deal for over sea’s ?
I think you have to attack him hard - -we could for sure use him big time - I would love to have him. - -What would you do/say? - -What you think Coach will do? - - I want him - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Kyree lost me at overseas

I don’t think coach is recruiting him much at all, unless he chooses to go to college (2020) and just begs for KU to sign him - which he won’t. We’re going to lose some players after this season, but will still have plenty coming back and our 2020 recruiting class I think has a chance to be pretty bigtime.

Well IF we were to still want to recruit him - - we would obviously want him to stay in 2020 - -I would still take him obviously - - I seriously can’t believe that Coach wouldn’t want to recruit him in 2020 - -I think we if he does stay in 2020 were going to still recruit - -again the kid is good - -real good

Daishen Nix’s Guardian said he will take an official visit to KU and UK in the coming weeks. Nix officially visited Maryland last year.
His Guardian is a former assistant to Jerry Tarkanian.
Being touted as the best passer in High School, being compared to Jason Kidd at same stage.
No shoe affiliation. Going to be a weird one or normal, the lines are so blurred no idea what’s normal in bball recruiting anymore

@BShark Washington is no longer a Nike program. They signed a $12 million per year deal with Adidas last year that goes into effect this year.

We made Isaiah Todd’s final 5: KU, UK, Memphis, Michigan, UNC. Kind of suprised there’s no Okie Lite.

Yessir. Todd has played on every shoe circuit over the years so there’s no built in loyalty there. Honestly think KU has the best shot of those 5. UK seems like they’ve moved on after Todd decided to stay in 2020. UNC and Todd aren’t that tight. Michigan seems an odd fit. Can never count out Memphis though.

Always nice to land in a top five - -when in reality it means with this one we finish in the runners up spot - -again , to either Kentucky OR N Carolina be interesting to see which one gets him

With the heat that has been on that program and Coach’s yet still seems recruits drawn to him like a Venus fly trap - -I JUST DON’T GET IT Someone please help clarify this for me - -just exactly does he have that is causing this - players still showing major interest when we not even sure what might be given to them as Punishment from this whole NCAA?FBI scandal thing - -doesn’t seem to be making much difference - - scaring recruit away - -so what gives> - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I can’t see Kentucky. They just got a combo forward today and will get another in Lance Ware. Oregon is one to watch. But KU is in the top tier for sure.

just checked the UK board - -some were asking if he was on campus this past week. - -Talking about how him and Todd would be a good combo.
A couple saying according to twitter looked like KU was the leader. Talking about looked like he really didn’t have any flaws - - his -jump was shot was pretty good high arch pretty unstoppable - sound ok to me
Says recruitment is wide open - - - -and ya going to Announce the 26th of August - that would be a nice start. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I understand the connection with Cunningham to OSU but Thompson besides being from Oklahoma I’m not getting this. Seems since his rise in the rankings he’s getting more behind the scenes attention. I’m sure the swooshers are nippin at the feet

Something strange is going on behind the scenes everywhere. Some scenes are just stranger than others. I’m perfectly fine with a kid who wants Trae Young volume not attending Kansas.

Interesting rumor. I mean its easy to lump a kid into that rep for being from Oklahoma but wonder what legs it actually has. I haven’t seen Boynton to be the type of coach to facilitate “shot volume” but maybe he will for Thompson.
This recruitment certainly looks to have taken a life of its own

OSU does have the occasional class like that, probably about once a decade or so. Probably just Nike spreading the wealth to their second tier programs. LSU is another example and so was Washington before this year. Teams that about once a decade or so land a monster class courtesy of the Nike machine.

Well at least KU was eliminated early. Thought there was a chance he would end up at Duke but it seems they didn’t want him since they never offered.

Well , seems to be some confusion here to me. - -What I had been hearing was that JT Thor was going to make his decision by the 26th of August as to where he is going to play.
Yet when I read the article that he had indeed re-classified and him stating that his recruitment was WIDE OPEN that there were no leaders - the article said he won’t even list his top Schools that he is interested In till the end of August. - -So which is it? - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
