Have to laugh myself. - -Kentucky think it’s a wrap now that they have an in home with Hurt Since they have Cal as their Coach as they say whoever Cal want’s they get. - -I can be totally by myself on this I could give a rat’s ass - -I’m NOT tripping about Hurt going to Kentucky - -not even breaking a sweat. - again I might be the only one - -that’s good enough for me - -I think Hurt is OUR’S - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@BeddieKU23 @Hawk8086 I’m going to have to catch some of his games this year if he commits or it appears KU is really going after him. I have some buddies in the KC metro who are very surprised by this offer. One is a grape (despite what I said about not hanging out with riff raff lol) and he joked that Self might be going senile.
As for Chandler I could see him ending up at Memphis but apparently Memphis isn’t really pushing for him. I don’t think he is so bad that he isn’t a 4 year KU guy. KU has trotted worse out there during Self’s tenure. In the starting line-up even. I like him long term especially defensively.

I think Chandler is perfect program guy. We can strengthen him up enough to hold his own at the 4. At which point, he is really the perfect stretch 4 for modern day basketball.

Wow just read and kind of caught me totally off guard. - -Bryan Antoine committed to Villanova. - - The reason seemed to be a general consenus that he was Duke bound/lock - -bet this threw ol rat face for a loop - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I thought we’d see more people trying to spin this but I don’t see it. The Capel loss certainly hit them here + Nova having a shiny trophy to sell. Nova is recruiting stupid right now and isn’t done from everything I see

Yeah there is really no way to spin it.
For those that don’t follow recruiting as closely and might just be thinking only of this miss well it’s not just this. They also appear to be fading with Cole Anthony.
They will get Josiah James no doubt, but outside of that I don’t know.

Wendell Moore? He seemed the other lock.
Stewart certainly seems to be open who is their big priority.
We don’t want Duke circling the wagon to give the Hurt’s some nike money… They have to right the ship

Another little interesting tidbit with old Rat face and crew. - - A duke poster asked Andrew Slater who was most likely to be a Duke Blue Devil out of Cole Anthony - - - RJ Barrett - - & Josiah James? Slater responded back and said - - -Josiah James - - - hmmmm. I know a lot of talk now about Anthony and Oregon but had heard he was an almost lock for Duke -then Barrett? - - - kind of funny. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Barrett is at Duke right now, as in on their team and will play this year. I think you got something confused here.

Spoke too soon, some are now saying a borderline Top 10 player is overrated. Gotta love it!

I understand that Wiseman is likely headed to Memphis or UK, but if he wants to come and visit and have a in-home with Self it can’t hurt. Don’t see any downside to it at all. You just never know in recruiting!

Any time a players is mentioned as a lock somewhere I always think of Deandre Ayton who according to the crystal ball prediction was 100% for KU…well…until he wasn’t.

Memphis, Alabama, FSU, Indiana among others in this. First time I’ve seen KU making an effort

My biggest and only question here is - - -WHY? especially at this point and time? - I’m sorry I just don’t get it. - I know , I know - - people say not to make anything out of things like this , that’s great BUT I’m telling you this kind of thing makes me really wonder if the Coaching staff has gotten a feel or some kind of info that we have possibly lost ground or even lost our other targets of Earle and or Hurt.
I mean this is 4 - - - – 4 players at the same position now that they are listed - - all are listed as power forwards. If I were a player at that position it would make me wonder if I were their # 1 target as they so often tell these kids - WHY are they recruiting so many other’s at my same position?
I get it that you have to have more then one option - - I get that. Two - -hell even remotely Three - - - BUT Four? - -na that just doesn’t make much sense to me - -especially at this stage of the game - -UNLESS the staff knows something that has been leaked. With this kid, looking at who else that is in on him & checking 247 - -looks to me that it is going to be pretty hard to pull him away from home anyways - especially when your coming in late. - -Just my personal take that’s all - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@BeddieKU23 we at least offered him last October. So maybe we have been on him more behind the scenes.
Kind of feels like we are trying to steal that Memphis squad away from Penny lol. Watch us land Hurt, Wiseman, Lawson and Watford somehow. If we see a DJ Jeffries visit, we KNOW something is going on lol.

We are visiting his school, its not a in-home as far as I can see.
I’m not going to speculate into this. Self does this every year.

This is the first time I’ve seen KU involved honestly. Most of the info I’ve seen on him involves Alabama, Memphis, Indiana.
I would be surprised if Watford picked a school outside of those 4 considering they have spent considerable time recruiting him since AAU.
Alabama was the first school to recruit him, not a surprise given he’s a bama native. Watford’s brother played at Indiana. Memphis under the new regime has put themselves right there and may even lead for him. FSU & LSU (he’s unofficially visited) are looking for official visits.

About 13 programs including KU will be in to watch Lester Quinones, Top 100 guard.

Well heard the podcast yesterday. I guess I’m not only losing my mind BUT - - -also losing my eye sight. These guys all they could do is gush all over themselves about Braum.
Things like Good shooter off the Catch - - - Dribble - or off Screen. Says he just shoots the hell out of the ball. - The one game where he scored 31 recently didn’t miss a shot - -they said it would be different if he shot nothing but three’s but he made all kinds of various shots.
Said the kid is definitely not afraid of the weight room - -boy face but put together I guess. Loves going to the rim - doesn’t matter if you block the shot or not going to keep attacking - -and if you foul him - -automatic two. Dad was a walk on I guess in the early 90’s - - -I guess I’m looking at wrong things. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
