That is why it is hard to repeat. Things need to go your way. Some things went Nova’s way last year (like the Graham call). This year they didn’t…like the play on Hart.

@BeddieKU23 I agree…but Izzo’s been uncanny in the tournament and they ran away from Miami…I didn’t watch it very closely.

And Miami was an equally terrible team. Someone had to win. Michigan St pulled away impressively but they will have to play the game of their life and have KU play it’s worst.

Miami could no score…there is no way KU shoots 40% and 25% from 3. MSU did not play that well, they won big because how poorly Miami played.

Let’s pray we don’t get those Nova/Wisc refs next weekend. I thought we’ve had some battles that included the refs, but I don’t think anything like what Wisc faced. Was like the calls depended on what end of the court they were at.

Biggest shock of the tournament so far is what Xavier did to FSU today. Wisconsin still has core pieces from their title game team a couple of years ago so we know they’re a good team capable of beating anyone. Xavier though was a team that played like crap down the stretch since Sumner went down, but they have looked like the top 10 team they were prior to the injury so far.
I also think Arizona got jobbed in getting St. Mary’s as their 7 seed because St. Mary’s was a top 20 team most of the year.
