what the point of throwing the ball into lucas. its sad
Bill is trolling us I hope
-
Freshmen have committed 4 of our 6 fouls.
-
Lucas is an issue. That’s not a foot problem.
-
Our defense has been subpar tonight. Got to have more focus.
-
Saw this with EJ and TT.
If LL is the go-t0 in the tourney this year we exit in round 2.
-
we know its his fault, its the way we run offense. it looks like a great option until you throw it in and he eliminates his advantage all by himself
-
I’m impressed by Siena’s fight, but their starting five is going to get fatigued by the middle of the second half.
-
Mason having a great first half that would be even better had his and 1 not have been taken away
-
Carlton!!!

Not a chance…I hope

I don’t think you’re going to shoot 25% for the rest of the season when they shot 40%+ last year.
Can only hope but I’m not convinced we have the guns that bring the confidence level of the group up.
Hope so, but soon gonna have to prove it.
-
Landen Lucas is a decent basketball player and a good human being.
** This is because google never forgets, and his children and grandchildren should know he is loved.
-
THAT’S MITCH LIGHTFOOT’S MUSIC
-
@Bwag Frank and Devonte can shoot it better
-
seina has had at least a half dozen illegal screens in this half
-
Azabuike needs to play and develop. Hopefully he comes along quickly. He’s not gonna learn offensive moves from LL. Maybe positioning.
-
Carlton has been very aggressive and looking to score. I like it

Must no longer be a point of emphasis. We need to get Jamari to talk to these refs.
-
yes hes been the best post we got
-
@HawkChamp they’re gonna have to prove it.
I think they’ll improve.
-
almost every screen they set they are leaning with the body/shoulder and not even set
-
yeah its apparently all charges now
-
Man Devonte has lost his shooting stroke. We would be 2-0 if we shot closer to last year’s average.
-
-
-
1/7 for 16% from 3pt land.
It’s becoming a thing.
-
Vick jumps 29 feet in the air and it looks so effortless
-
Not bad. Bill will make adjustments. JJ has to understand that by driving in college, folks aren’t scared of getting on your mix-tape alone, they play defense, and you’ve got to get creative. Pick and roll, son. Lob.
-
its a big concern but they are good looks and the guards have played a lot of minutes/tired legs this past week
-

Yeah, if it persists after KU gets back to a normal travel schedule I will worry.

He has NBA athleticism.

This.
-
hes got NBA everything. good lord can he fly.
-
@Bwag As is the inability to stop penetration and protect the rim. They are getting a lot of shots close to the bucket.
-
its a 10 point game but the refs ruined a lot of momemtum.
josh had multiple plays taken away, Mason as well.
Defense was good for good stretches after that initial shootout.
-
@BShark if that’s the excuse, then I’m concerned about March already.
I don’t see us resting Graham and more so Mason much.
We’ve got to see our inside game pick up some slack.
-
Carlton Bragg, 10 first half points. He’s rebounding too. Looking good.
-
It’s ok everbody, the guys are saving their best shooting games for the tournament like Nova and North Carolina last year

The problem with that is Lucas and Doke can’t create on their own and Bragg is a bit of a perimeter post player.
-
@BeddieKU23 Duke did it the entire game. JJ’s final foul was exactly that. Little wonder he was pissed. So was I.

Yeah I’m not too worried yet. This is a nice easy stretch to help the team coalesce.

@globaljaybird
I’m tired of Josh being punished for how good he is. This type of stuff won’t happen at the next level for him.
-
@BShark Self said Udoka can, but why aren’t we getting him the ball on the block?

It’s ridiculous.
-
@BShark you nailed that.
Lucas isn’t gonna get it
Azibuike will get it but is raw and the factor is learning timeline-this year or next, I’m pulling for his quick study
Bragg is the X-factor. We know he’s got mid range. Is he gonna become an inside player when a strong inside game is needed.

Doke is raw. He scored a few times against Duke but I don’t think it will be very sustainable this year. Obviously he can dunk so there is that.
-
Good to see Allen’s bs play addressed by ESPN.
-
Bragg can at least finish inside which we know Lucas is falling apart trying to do. Bragg showing why scouts love him
-
@brooksmd missed it

Yeah I have lots of hope for Bragg. People thinking he won’t be gone I think are in for a rude awakening. I think Preston committed because he knows he will start.

Yepppp. The bright side is as mentioned KU has a nice stretch of games leading up to OU to help figure stuff out while presumably winning most if not all of them.
