Per ESPN 14 hours agoBrown (shoulder) is scheduled for a checkup with his surgeon during Week 15 and could receive clearance to resume practicing thereafter, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Spin: Brown has been out all season after suffering a sternoclavicular joint injury to his left shoulder in the Chiefs’ Aug. 10 preseason opener and then undergoing surgery in mid-September. Though initial reports after his surgery was performed suggested that Brown would likely miss the entire regular season, the wideout has seemingly avoided any setbacks thus far in the recovery process and looks like he’ll have a chance to get in a few tune-up games before the playoffs get underway. If Brown’s surgeon is satisfied with the health of his shoulder following the upcoming checkup, the Chiefs will likely open the receiver’s 21-day practice window before mapping out a target date for his season debut. Rapoport notes that Brown could be ready for game action as soon as Week 16, when the Chiefs host the Texans on Dec. 21.

Defense made some big plays and the offense showed signs of its old self. If they can get SS back next week they should have a good receiving core with Kelce starting to get into his groove. I really think this game put the rest of the NFL on notice. Hunt has plugged right and done the heavy lifting. I give Minshew credit he played his best game of the year this afternoon and it wasn’t enough.

@Crimsonorblue22 definitely true and false accusations are huge part of that issue. We all should be up in arms about it for that very reason.

There may be a way for international student-athletes to earn some NIL, with passive engagements that don’t require labor, and so don’t violate their student visa. It’s just a matter of getting creative. Thankfully none of the tournament games are on an away court. Unfortunately none of them are in Allen Fieldhouse either. The games won’t be any more difficult than league games or KU’s non-conference schedule either for that matter. They will be battle tested and these bruises will be calluses by then. This is the hardening box. They will either emerge tougher or fall apart at the seems.

I sure wouldn’t mind playing Coastal Carolina now. Ufff, those were tough, painful losses.

Maybe havoc for three straight days is unsustainable? I feel their play style will lead to upsets, both of other teams and themselves.

I noticed that Calipari, like Bruce Weber frequently is on the court while the ball is in play. Coach Self does a nice job of staying on the side line and in the coaching box.

@FarmerJayhawk His jumper looks much more in flow and smooth this season. Last season he had a hitch in it, he’s put some hours in the gym this offseason no question.
