@kjayhawks I understand what you’re saying. I don’t know the person in question, nor do I care much about him. But, supposedly we have free speech. Unless it offends or makes people uncomfortable. I don’t believe one person in that classroom felt like he was going to shoot someone. He was just running his mouth because he was frustrated. I saw the video and (I didn’t memorize it) but I think he basically apologized right then and there. Maybe I’m making that up… Anyway, he didn’t have the students grab pitchforks and torches. I think, like many things, it was blown out of proportion.

You were right on regarding the point spread and I was way off.

The main thing to me is we’re a bad team with some good points. Am I the only one that knew we would lose in the last 2 minutes? We’ve lost all 5 games this after having had 4th quarter leads. That may be Guinness Book of World Records material.

It’s just that we seem to be getting worse and I don’t have a good feel about the rest of this season. That might change if coaches/players were re-evaluated and we actually did something to improve the situation.

By the way, I guessed my friend’s son’s High School football score last night. I predicted they’d be ahead 56-0 at halftime. I was wrong. It was 63-0.

@FarmerJayhawk LOL - everybody that’s ever played has been paid. I have a friend that was a DE for KU back in the mid 80’s. When Ku was as bad at football as they’ve ever been. (except now, maybe). He said nobody on the team ever paid a dime the whole time they were there. Never paid for clothes, never paid at a restaurant, never paid for anything basically.

I haven’t heard (or paid attention to) anyone calling for Lance’s head. Grimes, for sure. And several (including me) to have JD ride some pine. I guess I need to pay better attention.

You guys are good with words. Me, not so much. I would sum it up by saying :

Discuss. Don’t make personal attacks against other posters. Cuss the coaches, the refs, the program, whatever. But not each other. We’re all passionate. We all have our own opinions.
