RE: What I want next season
@bskeet I think the third won't happen regardless of what the first two are.

RE: What I want next season
I want NIL money to go away and for players to stay four years.
And world peace.

RE: INDIANA. UCLA. LOUISVILLE. AND.......
@Texas-Hawk-10 seedings don't mean quality teams. Look at our early exits lately. It doesn't matter where a team is seeded. It matters how they perform.

RE: INDIANA. UCLA. LOUISVILLE. AND.......
@wissox83 what grand exaggerations? Look at the win-loss record. It's exactly what I said.

INDIANA. UCLA. LOUISVILLE. AND.......
Kansas. We have joined the ranks of teams that used to be great and are now barely relevant. In the past 10-ish years we've had double digit losses multiple times and eight or nine losses multiple times. This is not a fluke bad season. It's a trend. We are no longer a powerhouse. A Blueblood. We're just another team. I don't know how it happened, but it happened.

RE: Bill Self
@bskeet Or he might look at the last four years and think "shoot, anybody can do that. Sign me up."

RE: How to watch Cheese Rolling and what to look for
@approxinfinity The Zen Approach
2025 back-to-back menβs champion Tom Kopke (Munich) kept it simple:βI shut off my brain and went for it.β
That's the exact strategy KU should have used in basketball..
My money is on Kopke to win his 3rd straight this Mayt! GO KOPKE! ROLL THE CHEESE, BRO! CHEESE

RE: Money next year
@approxinfinity How about: Cheese Rolling: Held annually in England, participants race down a steep hill chasing a round of Double Gloucester cheese, says Britannica.
-
RE: Money next year
@approxinfinity what's a world cup? A large drinking vessel?

RE: Money next year
@BigBad I've always had a bit of an addictive personality. Dive headfirst into something (golf, bowling, whatever it may be), go like a bat out of hell for a while and then burn out.
KU basketball has been, by far, my longest and most intense addiction but I'm done. It's not worth the emotional investment to watch minor league ball as you say
-
RE: Kansas vs St Johns
KU's Sweet Sixteen days are over for good.
-
RE: Coaching Staff
@rockchalkjayhawk it's a done deal. Jerome Tang to take the helm May 1st. If we lose it, by God won't be his fault.
-
RE: Other Games 2025-2026
@kjayhawks2.0 IMO the NIL has ruined EVERYTHING!
-
RE: Kansas Jayhawks vs Cal Baptist Lancers 8:45
Gonna snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
-
RE: Kansas Jayhawks vs Cal Baptist Lancers 8:45
@Kcmatt7 I hope it carries over to the second half.
-
RE: Selection Sunday + Bracket Challenge
@FormerlyStlJhawk you're absolutely right. The difference for me is now I don't feel obligated (compelled) to watch. If I'm in front of a TV and the game is on -great! But if I have other plans, I'll do them and watch later. Or not watch later.
-
RE: Selection Sunday + Bracket Challenge
@kjayhawks2.0 I haven't filled out a bracket for maybe 5 years. I feel a lot smarter! I'm glad you had a good week. This is my new normal - I care less about sports almost daily.

RE: Selection Sunday + Bracket Challenge
@rockchalkjayhawk I would root against Duke if Ted Bundy was the opposing coach
