@wissox hey - someone hacked your account.
KU goes 12-0 - they skip the playoffs and go straight to the Super Bowl

@drgnslayr Could JV come be an assistant at my place of work? And take over IMMEDIATELY?
K-State has had this in place for quite some time now. But they call them Udder Clamps.
I was going to say - why would anybody here need a beginnerās guide?
@wissox Dammit. What you just said. THATāS what I wanted to say.
@dylans Roy Williams had a 418-101 record and a .805 winning percentage during his 15 seasons as head coach at Kansas from 1988 to 2003. His teams were ranked in the Top 25 for 145 consecutive weeks from 1991 to 1999. He led Kansas to 14 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including two national championship games.
I guess we can look at virtually any subject and see things differently. Roy was seconds away from having 2 NCās at KU, just like Bill. IN MY OPINION - (cuz thatās all we have here) his teams were more talented and fun to watch. How did he fizzle out at the end of his KU tenure? His last game was a National Championship game.
Iām not saying he was a better coach than Self (although, statistically he was - 80.5% to 80.4%) I just liked watching Royās passion and the uptempo game that his teams played. In the long run, Big 12 Championships are nice but donāt mean a whole lot.
@Jhawk69 I agree. I could actually stay awake during Royās reign.
@dylans he was also green as hell when he moved to Kansas. Time and experience jaded him. Like all of us.
@dylans Is there something mystical about the āEastā? Roy had way better recruits
@wissox Is that your way of asking if Roy was the better recruiter.
@DanR said in Jacque Vaughn... Thoughts?:
" Vaughn, 50, who played at KU for four seasons "
This is a lie. Or at least a misprint. Nobody has ever stuck with a college team for four years. Unless his NIL money was better than what he could make in the NBA.
Sorry. Iām just feeling that way today. Love me some Jacque Vaughn.
So, this will sound weird. It did to me anyway. I went to a paranormal conference Saturday. First time Iād done anything like that. It was interesting and fun. I listened to a couple of intriguing speakers. But there was a guy named Dustin Pari who is pretty well know in the area of paranormal investigation. He spoke for an hour. Almost exclusively about non paranormal stuff. Talked about how we need to love each other better. Be kind. Donāt get in the agentās face at the airport when the flight is delayed for 20 minutes. Just normal (not paranormal!) common sense stuff that weāre losing touch with as a society. I liked the guy a lot. Iāll watch his ghost shows any time I see them.
@drgnslayr I like placing an order and having someone bring me food.
@approxinfinity Itās called āProgressā
Thanks, society.
@rockchalkjayhawk Wonderful! I guess the equivalent of kicking the tires or unplugging something and plugging it back in?
@rockchalkjayhawk I usually wrap my food in tinfoil and cook it on the manifold of my truck while Iām drivingā¦
Sorry, I really wish I could help. My best mechanic is YouTube.
@SlimShaddy54 Weāre KU. We should be used to getting shafted by now.
@SlimShaddy54 Jesus loves K-State too. Probably. I guess.
@approxinfinity itās the beginning of the apocalypse
1 and 2 year players?
OH! Juniors and Seniors!
@approxinfinity Will any teams do more with lesser combos? Yup.
@Zabudda the further down the line we are the better. #1 hasnāt worked out well the past couple of years.
@kuballin10 Sweet Sixteen, huh? Youāre setting the bar pretty high.
@kjayhawks I agree. Iāve seen a couple of floor burns tonight. I almost forgot what that was. They may still lose. But theyāre playing like grown men.
I wish this Houston team had āKANSASā written across their jerseys
Any lawyers out there in KU Buckets-land? I was just wondering if we can file some sort of class action lawsuit against āyou know whoā to repair some of the emotional and financial devastation heās caused in the past few months. Maybe we could hire Willie Gary???
@approxinfinity Iād do cartwheels! Jump for Joy! Praise God! Only half of what Iām worth would be a huge windfall
@approxinfinity nah. That was my sarcastic care
@dylans I always congratulate my KSU people on their Livestock Judging Championships. A few of them are smart enough to know itās not a compliment. A very few.
@BeddieKU23 The instant that you see them.
@wissox Iām sorry about your grandma and I understand your connection to the place. Iām talking strictly about the basketball team and i despise everything about them.
@BShark Not Amy more embarrassing than college sports in general.
@wissox Duke is owned by the Trump foundation. The trophy is already engraved.
That may or may not be true. But it feels true.
@Crimsonorblue22 I guess I didnāt know that was a thing. BUT - Iāve been protesting every day since he was elected.
Am I the only one who thinks theyāll never be able to retire because the psychopath president keeps trying to bankrupt this country? I mean, financially as well as morally.
@msanchez technically, itās called "slow motion offense "
"Kansas, the preseason No. 1 team in the nation, lost to the Arkansas Razorbacks in the round of 64, becoming the second team in college basketball history to lose in the first round after beginning the season atop the rankings. The other team to suffer that fate was the 2005 Kansas squad. "
We have some work to do.
@rockchalkjayhawk I feel like Jim has been trolling this site and stealing my words.
@DCHawker Youāre a top prospect. Do you want to go to the state of Kansas and play for a guy who seems to have lost his imagination. Who plays a boring brand of ball?
Me either.
@dylans Thereās a reason people write songs like this.
@DCHawker Yes, it is less. None of those schools and most other schools have never had the prominence and āroyaltyā that KANSAS had.
@DCHawker Because weāre not KANSAS anymore. Weāre Kansas. Nobody is intimidated, nobody particularly wants to play here unless they have some obscure ties to the University or this part of the Midwest.
@BShark Oh come on now. A BEAST who averages 5.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game is worth at least 3 mil. By those standards, my boss will surely up my pay to 837 billion per year.
