@kjayhawks I don’t hate Mahomes, btw. What I do hate is this:

Patrick Mahomes owns minority stakes in several professional sports teams, including the Kansas City Royals (MLB), Sporting Kansas City (MLS), the Kansas City Current (NWSL), and the Alpine Formula 1 team. He also co-owns a Whataburger franchise in Kansas City and founded his own foundation, the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation. Additionally, he has investments in sports recovery companies and a stake in Throne Coffee.

He’s way too busy and distracted to give a crap about the job that enables him to do all these other things. Factor in that TS is a global distraction for everyone and - IN MY NON HATING opinion - they’ve been to their last Super Bowl.

@kjayhawks Besides the fact that he can’t hit an open target anymore? He throws most passes in the dirt (astrodirt) or 5 feet over their heads. The few passes that are on target get dropped.

@drgnslayr KU has a loser mentality in football. It appears it’s happening to LL by osmosis. You can bet your butt he didn’t win 47 National Championships up north (it was 47, right? A buttload anyway) by punting on short 4th down situations. He maybe didn’t even have a punter. It’s a catch 22. You can’t be a winner with a loser’s mindset and you can’t get rid of the loser’s mindset unless you win. Come on November 3rd.

I watched ESPN College Football Final this morning. For an hour. The only time they mentioned Kansas, it had a “State” after it. I did get to find out about all kinds of other schools though. Oklahoma School of Horseshoeing. Andover School for the Blind. Northwest Eastern College- South Campus.

@stoptheflop Oh Lord. I would pick players from Oklahoma, Texas, K-State, Notre Dame and Miami, put them on the same team and still root against the Suckeyes.

@kjayhawks the Mizzou game will be won or lost between the ears. We’ve had the mindset for a long time that we’re either really bad, meh or just ok. Mizzou (pains me to say this) has been pretty damn good for a while now. So if we can put the past to bed and concentrate on right now, we’ll be fine.

@Jhawk69 I’ll take some crap for this, but Marshall may be better than Daniels. The second he stepped on the field he looked like a leader. Looked like he knew what he was doing. He was fast, made good decisions. I hope the coaches saw what I saw.

Over 7,000 yards passing for his career. Works out to about 500 yds per season or so.
